Really judicious and helpful choice of images - i feel i learned a lot from these - and nothing wrong with the twangy soundtrack either! I decided six months ago that this was the camera i wanted next, and i've spent the time since trying to find something that makes more sense to me. I think i'm close to accepting that my quest has failed.... Lkd&Subd. All the best from cabin in a swamp in a rainforest in New Zealand.
Thank you a lot. Glad i could help in making decisions. K1 is really a great camera. New Zealand brings me fun memories... It was tha Americas Cup time, New Zealand against Luna Rossa. I was at the Rotary International convention in Salt Lake City. The president of the time was from New Zealand and he had some huge Maori doing a show. At my arrival in the elevator I saw this group of Maori 3 times my size, the looked at my badge, read Italy on it and told me smiling "New Zealand yes, Luna Rossa no!". Obviously I replied with the opposite. For a week every time we crossed path there was a group of ~20 Maori stopping, getting in battle position and go on with this mantra and me taking the hero pose, kind of David against Goliath and go in defense of Luna Rossa. All the people around looking perplexed... I wish I had someone filming it :D
thanks for your video, im using pentax too, im from Mexico, the problem is that repair pentax here takes too much time, but i love this camera. I use pentax k-1 mk1 i onla have one lense is 24-70 2.8, I have a cuestion, which lense do you prefer, 70-200 2.8 or 85 1.4 ? as i see you chose the 85. you must do a video about that lense Thanks a lot and hugs from México
Thanks. The video about the 85mm 1.4 is coming soon. Great lens! I was waiting to have some portraits to do a test but at the moment in Italy to find free models is become almost impossible... I never tried the 70-200 f2.8 so I cannot do a comparison. Having the 1.4 is nice in low light and for a super out of focus. I will see what lenses I will have to try next, it depends what the Pentax Italian importer will give to me. I know Pentax is working to improve the assistance on cameras in EU but I don't know for Mexico. They are doing a major step up in general.
Hello Great Video and this is not your Camera so in this way you can''t but you can buy a Split screen Viewfinder I'have one in my K1, bought mine at Focusingscreen
@@LuigiBarbano i find it not really hard to to do espacially on the K1 because everything is a little bit bigger. Just remove the lens and and gently push the metal clip in the middel a little bit upwards and your focussing screen flips down on your mirror. The kit i bought included the instruction and everything else needed
@@justintonature519 Thanks, after your comment I checked it and it's very easy! Not mentioned in the instruction manual at all, but is the same easy process I used in a lot of fil camera. Sometime I really think Pentax needs to learn to market better its cameras! Interchangeable focusing screen is something to promote in any brochure but I have not found it mentioned anywhere. They also need to offer some different screen as accessories... sometime it's really frustrating.
Thank you for the nice review, signore.
Thank you, glad you appreciated.
Thank you for your impressions , and for sharing your lovely photographs with us all Sir.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video.

It needs few improvements 1. Touch screen 2. Improved focussing . 3. Increased framing rate speed

@ezervalencia4158 Hola Ezer yo me encuentro en México y quisiera preguntarte, ¿en dónde adquiriste tu Pentax en el país?

Thanks. Is it easy to change the screen or must be done by a lab?

That's really helpful to know - many thanks from me and my Takumars.
