Flevoland is actually a province where at some locations you can see windmills everywhere. Modern windmills that is. There are spots when when looking around one can view over 70 at least. It helps that the land is extremely flat, of course.
I wouldnt say we have always bad weather but I would describe it more as ''it can always become bad weather''. Im suprised how you pronounced Zaanse Schans , 2 years in the Netherlands is not alot and I would say that word is not the easiest to pronounce but you did a damm good job 😄 Where I come from tulips grow everywhere 🤣 We are not all tall here im like 1,76 m(about the average male height in America) but Im dark blonde and have blue eyes tho . But compared to the 1.82 m average for a 19 year old male here im tiny . The bike thing is true we own around 1.3 bikes per person here in the Netherlands and I do believe our bike infrastructure is the best in the world .

Weed is not legalized here. It's tolerated. We have a tolerance policy, and you can buy it in the coffeeshop, but it's still not legal. You are not allowed to grow it, nor carry more than 5 grams on you.
Which makes it pretty insane from a legal point of view. Because there is an industry providing those coffeeshops that sort of works by not being a nuisance too much. Making it legal takes a lot of money out of the hands of criminals and would allow for production standards to be applied. Same goes for any recreative type of drug. Drugs often never were an issue before being prohibited and without fail prohibition increased the problem. When criminal activities are legalised and the rule of law is functional you can also hurt the bosses responsible instead of catching the peons. Try banning the most addictive drug there is... sugar.
@@Caprifool That completely depends on if you have a growing lamp or not, and if you are stealing power or not. I grew some in my youth, had 5 large plants. Had one lamp, and paid for my power. They still came and destroyed my setup, and i was very nearly arrested. It is that I am chronically ill with a proven disease that they let me off completely. I will never grow again. I now buy shitty pesticide ridden weed from the coffeeshop. Mine was so much better.
