@Scott Daniel I don't like gold or Cripto currency.. infact I don't like any units that store wealth as digits hoardings..😁 to be frank I hate the idea of hard central currency that can be stored and use as reserve for wealthy nations sovereignty and elites few that holds extreme wealth and abusing it.. I like liquid single currency that is issue by our single reserve bank and carefully planned for by our single governing structure on behalf of our species of humanity social structure..
      Not independent sovereign government monopoly..😋

In ANSWER to your last question you posed. Rather than the tired old debate, should we tax a bit more or cut services a bit or do what we always do, a bit of both. We should and we CAN do the previously unthinkable - TAX THE OFFSHORE! About 25% of the worlds wealth is hoarded in Off Shore Tax Havens ~20 Trillion US dollars! The G20 should nut up and Start taxing that. Unfortunately the G20 is 'owned' by about ~ 100 families, so we shouldn't expect the puppet politicians to turn on their masters just yet. I personally am a multi millionaire have about $6 million dollars net wealth, live in a penthouse with sea views which is plenty, I don't have offshore funds. However I am a speck of dust compared to those before mentioned 'families'. Elon Musk, I would opine is practically the only straight shooter out there. Ideally we should have a 100 of him/her in the world. He is hooked on Progress NOT power and colossal wealth for power for colossal power and wealth's sake, which are pretty vacuous values if u don't use it for PROGRESS for your fellow man.

Very true, Saudi Arabia, Norway and other oil rich nations scooping up huge profits from the oil revenues by owning the privately run oil company’s/ Nationalized oil company in practice even if there run like private for profit companies. They scoop up most of the extracted wealth and if private companies explore and extract on there own they license out the oil and reep in 75-80% of the profits, at least for Norways part. So no way anyone private company is able to reep the money for its own benefit and its shareholders in Norwegian territory, but there happy with that agreement because they still make huge profits even if its much less than otherwise.

      This video is so misleading.
Monetary sovereign nations don’t need taxes for funding purposes.
They create new money every time they spend.
Taxes are just a drain to create space so the govt can spend into without creating inflation.

@@Octovisuals Thats is a load of garbage.
There is no inflation or hyperinflation unless you’re a country that is being bent over by the US.
“Printing money” is such an outdated term that refers to fixed exchange systems of which Australia and the US arent.
But hey you’re are saying that the US and Aus are socialist ????
You did well at destroying your credibility in the one post.
      1) When the non govt sector net saves then the govt automatically becomes the net spender - that’s accounting fact.
      2) The wealthy that own govt demand lower taxes, so more stocks of money is being saved which ruins the monetary system but you would complain that taxing is a socialist thing whilst also blaming currency creation is also socialist (how laughable)
      3) Most production has been sent offshore, more money is used for financial speculation.
Will you be blaming socialists for that or capitalists ?
The masses are taught myths.that just don’t stack up.

      @@isawaturtle Man, you're so ignorant...
Look at Argentina, Venezuela and many other countries. It's happening all the time, sadly.
“Printing” is just a common term to mean “creating” new money... Come on, don't be a prick.
The US is a mixed economy, as all the rest of the countries. The balance between capitalism and socialism is crucial. And sadly even the US is tending to increase the socialism, and socialism *ALWAYS* destroys wealth and creates confrontation, conlict, poverty, suffering, death. I could explain a little bit of critical history to you, but... I'm not wasting anymore of my precious time with you.

Lol this is so inaccurate but expected from msm company. Your tax pays for very little 'services' it is mostly spent on the interest for the 'national debt' that is created by government when they issue a bond to the bond market. The 'big 5' banks buy them and add them to their assets in the account at the Bank of England. The government then has to pay the interest on the 'money' that is created from the IOU (bond) as its a promise to pay. The tax revenue collected services the interest. You tax payers are on on the hook. Low growth in the uk economy is down to the lack of smaller banks being put out of business. As in Germany, these smaller banks are in abundance and lend to the smaller companies thus a stronger economy. In uk, the larger banks only lend to the big corporations that mop up everything. You need hidden champions in your economy to allow growth to allow Research and development to be implemented. Silly'politicians'. Keep your nose out of the real economy.
