- This video is the first ever recorded round of golf I've played. While I've played a few rounds over the summer, this is going to mark the beginning of my golfing journey. I'm hoping this video will both be entertaining and humbling but also will be fun to look back on one day when I'm better at golf.

I played my first round of golf today with some friends and I was told to not keep score but to just get a feel for how it flows. I played 9 holes and found that I'm not horrible with irons but I butcher each shot with my 3 wood, my hybrids and my driver. I love this game already and I look forward to many more rounds of golf in the future! Thanks for sharing your round with us
That’s awesome advice, glad it went well for you! I honestly had played a couple rounds before this video off camera but I felt pretty similar to you.
Just a little tip. You’re choking down on a lot of your clubs and that hurts a lot of different things for a lot of different reasons. Also if your normal miss is a slice or just right in general try to keep the club more in the fingers of the left hand. This promotes the face to close.

Thank you! I’m excited for the journey and actually posted a video of me getting my first eagle last week.
I use the 18 birdies app to get approximate yardages and track score! I’ve been loving it.
