Community Outreach and Public Affairs Division

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Community Outreach and Public Affairs Division leads our agency’s efforts to build trust among our communities. Within the division is the Community Engagement Team (CET), it's made up of Sheriff's Office personnel and community liaisons.
CET responds to concerns from residents, works to build lasting relationships, and focuses on youth programs.
CET meets with residents at businesses, schools, and community events. They also teach HCSO's D.A.R.E. program and lead our Youth Explorers. They also host a Citizen Academy and works with recruiters to find the best talent for the HCSO.
