You know it has to do with the water temp. and if the temperature drop, it will slow the bass down from feeding and all around movement. The fish ya`ll did catch was really quality fish. I think ya`ll need to keep your heads up, because really ya`ll are doing all you can. Them old Jack fish, that what we call the fish like you caught Hilary here in Arkansas. I bought all the favorite rod's when they made them for the Googans. Sucks they had a falling out. But I have to say none of the Favorite rod's have failed me. I've had 3 of the Googan rods snap at the top. They replaced them but the older Favorite rod's are doing great.
Hey Hilary. I get a kick out of you saying thanks Aftco for all the warm garments while wearing flip flops. Lol. Too bad those pickles weren't bass that would have helped ya''ll. Do you keep a fishing journal? Put all your info in including water temp, depth, lure, sun rain rock grass etc. You can look back at it later for patterns that work and things that don't. Each fishing trip brings you more knowledge and experience. Ya'll make a good team. Love and Respect.
Hay that place doesn’t seam as bad as Lake Truman with 35+ mph winds were every cove and every bank has trees you can see can’t see but we ended up 2nd in points this past season unfortunately did not make the cut for nationals because it is basically just getting started here in MO but most of all we all need to keep all the glory to God and hopefully some day we can fish together
