Just had my surgery sa Neck (C6-7 ACDF) with implant last Feb 18. I tried to evade it for 5yrs until a recent minor car accident aggrevated it. To think m nurse practicing in US. Your feelings of fear, anxiety etc. is very legit. I am glad u hav ur BF n Bestie during this challenging time. I pray for complete healing n no abnormality in d tumor cellular growth. But need din I-remove kasi lumalaki habang tumatagal.And sadly, OFW ako, currently working here in Japan. Kaya strong and independent woman and peg, kasi bawal ang kasama and dalaw. I understand how Su Hyuk must have felt during those "waiting hours" . The anxiety of not knowing what went on in the OR/surgery room is beyond indescribable. It must have been the longest waiting hours of his life. It's a feeling you don't want to experience ever. When my partner had a minor surgery last November, I too had to experience the same. The vulnerability of our loved ones in the recovery room is also not a pleasing sight. It's heartbreaking. Hope you have recovered, Ms Kristel. Not just physically but also emotionally. I underwent radiosurgery at the age of 29 so as to avoid further damaging my auditory & facial nerves. Though, it has affected my left hearing already, but I am thankful I'm well and very productive. But need din I-remove kasi lumalaki habang tumatagal.And sadly, OFW ako, currently working here in Japan. Kaya strong and independent woman and peg, kasi bawal ang kasama and dalaw. Nag-undergo ako ng surgery last march 14. Without any member of the family beside me. 😢

I understand how Su Hyuk must have felt during those "waiting hours" . The anxiety of not knowing what went on in the OR/surgery room is beyond indescribable. It must have been the longest waiting hours of his life. It's a feeling you don't want to experience ever. When my partner had a minor surgery last November, I too had to experience the same. The vulnerability of our loved ones in the recovery room is also not a pleasing sight. It's heartbreaking. Hope you have recovered, Ms Kristel. Not just physically but also emotionally. It must have been hard for Su Hyuk too. I hope he's Ok just the same. Hoping for the best. ❤

Awww... we're the same schwanomma din yun sa akin pero sa brain 😢 It's called acoustic schwanoma. I underwent radiosurgery at the age of 29 so as to avoid further damaging my auditory & facial nerves. Though, it has affected my left hearing already, but I am thankful I'm well and very productive. God is good Kristel. Praying for you 🙏
