I have just seen the picture of John Audubon of the swallows in a sand bank with the two chicks peeping from a hole.I' m not only learning to listening but also art...thank you!
Hi, I think that for the speaker one in forth part, the main reason is H a whis of independece, since she is saying that now she has to pay more for bills, and remarks ¨i gues that is the price for independece¨
I don't know if this is the real test paper, but for Q1, A is correct for sure. The speaker said the painter was coincidentally born on this very day in 1785. C is not preferable, possibly because there is no info suggesting this migration is 'important'. i would say this question is indeed ambiguous.
@@lammichael8111 Thank you for your comment. @HIGH STREET SCHOOLS Av. Barcelona: This is exactly a trick question, as Lam Michael explained, the correct answer is A.
@@VietFCE I do not think that explanation makes sense. We are supposed to respond why the picture was selected, and it is crearly said that it was because of the birds migration.
@@valeriazeladagutierrez8766 I have just checked again now and updated, yes, C is the correct answer. You and @High Street Schools Av.Barcelo.. are right.
task 1's somehow tricky for I need to understand the whole (implication), not just keywords and the like. esp the questions of agreement between two ppl.
For CAE reading test, we need to get around 33-35 practice score to get 185 Cambridge English Score. You can check more details here: www.cambridgeenglish.org/Images/210434-converting-practice-test-scores-to-cambridge-english-scale-scores.pdf

I don't understand, in the transcription is underlined sentences that suggest C but in the answer key is A.
@@vladenache296 Which question are you talking about?

This test was hard and questions are more tricky than the other ones.

Some of the anwsers are wrong, question 1 for example would be option C not A...

@@VietFCE They both can't be right at the same time as one says the correct answer is A and the other C. To me both answers A and C seem legit.
