I also recently got the Shimano Intenza in 7'4" heavy and I love it. Great reel seat. Grip feels great in the hand and I use it for my swim baits, top water frog, or swim jigs in heavy cover with 65 lb braid. I also picked up all the SLX DCs and they have performed flawlessly.

Cool unboxing. I didn't have any luck with that blue craw\pumpkin Rage ned bug you opened at the beginning. Maybe the Crawdaddy color you opened second will work better this year for me. And I'm psyched for that Shimano SLX XT! I'm glad they put the SVS adjustability on the SLX! That was the only reason I never bought one. Good luck in 2020 man!

DEBO'S Fishing another idea would be your fave setups for each rig. Like fav squarebill setup, best jig setup. Kinda like what tactical bass in does but I feel they are super brand bias where you are open to everything. Like they only recommend dobbins and shimano. I feel like those would be killer. I Have 1 of those mini Huds but have never tied it on. I have the Hud 68 version that I throw a bit. I caught a 4 pounder on it last Feb. and caught a turtle on it this summer. Thought I had it snagged twice but pulled on it hard and it came out. It is amazing how weedless they are. Can't wait to see what you catch on it as well as what you catch on that new Arashi glide. Here is to some big ones in 2020..
Now Debo, I KNOW you went wild during the 25 days as Christmas as well right?!? That was a great haul and I did the same thing during the Christmas sale. I ended up grabbing 2 of the Ark Vipers to try out, the realized I needed two more reels, oops 😁. Waiting on my package as we speak.

I also replace the batteries.Tomorrow it gets washed, compounded, and waxed. 1998 Pro Craft 16 with low hours from I guy I know that is unable to use it anymore. It is nice. Being a medically retired cop I never thought I would get a boat this nice. After cleaning it only needs updated electronics.
Man debo I don't know how your old lady is with tackle purchases but my wife was about ready to kill me. So many good deals between them and ordered a new rod and reel from American legacy fishing.
Great stuff!!! That Grande bait with the hollow tail will be awesome when bass go on bed. A small piece of Alka Seltzer in the tail will bring a vicious bite. They got a good bait. They tend to tare up easy but then so does Zoom. That Shimano rod was beautiful!!!! I just started to use the grips myself this year. Not sure if they make a big difference or not. Looks like you got some nice stuff. A few things I would like to see videos on would be knowing when to throw different baits(chatter,jigs,spinner,etc) I bank fish and feel limited on what I can throw.( I keep to frogs and weedless rigs and don’t know where and where to throw other lures) How to tutorials on fishing in extreme heavy cover(pads,grass). I fish this a lot but would like to get you input on how you fish it. Thanks

I’m about to order some of those air tail wigglers to try on shaky heads. I’m also getting some reaction innovation smallie and sweet beavers because I don’t have any beavers and want some simple ones with good colors. And definitely need to buy some jigs like the war eagle jigs and the green fish tackle urchin jig and maybe even the shroomz finesse jigs for trying on some crappie and pond fishing. I learn a lot from your channel especially on what works best for the price and quality.

Hey Debo, I like watching your videos, cool stuff always! How bout a 1v1 challenge between you and the Randizzler only using the Dock Demon Deluxe? Those combos are awesome for small set-ups. I caught a 6 lb bass on one. That would make for a cool video.
@@DEBOSFishing You'd have to check but most Walmart's carry them. They're the one with the cork handle. You can basically bend them in half and they won't break. They're a lot of fun for a small spinning combo.
I got some of them heavy finesse jigs and I like em alot, thanks for the rec. El Jeffe and Trophy Hunter is about all you need. Ur El jeffes looked lighter then mine. Mine r older and are a pumpkin /green pumpkin laminate. Hope they didn't change it cuz when I started using Grande they came in black bag and had the heaviest garlic scent, it would leave a slick in the water and make ur hands greasy after touching 1. I wish they never changed. Falcon lake is a bomb color 2.
Definitely going to try those lifted ewg ned jigs. The regular jigs work great but the downside is they get snagged easily in the ponds and canals I fish.

Nice haul! My 25 days of savings order from Tackle Warehouse is on the way. I got a bunch of stuff but the highlight is a Gamakatsu shoulder tackle bag. I have been doing a lot of hiking and fishing so I am still on the search for the perfect bag for keeping it light but enough stuff so I don’t feel I left something I needed behind

As far as video ideas I believe we've already talked about this but would love to see a series where you set up seasonal tackle boxes. Like a day box for each season. Also what do you fish those little ned-craw rigs on setup wise? Spinning?
I'm a bank Fisher as well, so I'm always afraid to throw those big glide baits in case they get hung up. I would love to see a video on those. I guess I'm gonna have to get over it, cus I wanna throw 1.

Those big bite ned heads look like you could only use them with big TRD’s. It didn’t look like those ned bugs would fit. Another great video Debo.

Looks like you got some nice stuff. A few things I would like to see videos on would be knowing when to throw different baits(chatter,jigs,spinner,etc) I bank fish and feel limited on what I can throw.( I keep to frogs and weedless rigs and don’t know where and where to throw other lures)
How to tutorials on fishing in extreme heavy cover(pads,grass). I fish this a lot but would like to get you input on how you fish it.

I’m about to order some of those air tail wigglers to try on shaky heads. I’m also getting some reaction innovation smallie and sweet beavers because I don’t have any beavers and want some simple ones with good colors. And definitely need to buy some jigs like the war eagle jigs and the green fish tackle urchin jig and maybe even the shroomz finesse jigs for trying on some crappie and pond fishing. I learn a lot from your channel especially on what works best for the price and quality.

If you didn't know it the reel tightener doubles as a bait keeper on that Intenza. Just hook your bait into those slots in the top

Hey Debo, I like watching your videos, cool stuff always! How bout a 1v1 challenge between you and the Randizzler only using the Dock Demon Deluxe? Those combos are awesome for small set-ups. I caught a 6 lb bass on one. That would make for a cool video.
We'd definitely be down for a fun challenge. I've never used a dock Demon. I'll have to look those up.
@@DEBOSFishing You'd have to check but most Walmart's carry them. They're the one with the cork handle. You can basically bend them in half and they won't break. They're a lot of fun for a small spinning combo.

I got some of them heavy finesse jigs and I like em alot, thanks for the rec. El Jeffe and Trophy Hunter is about all you need. Ur El jeffes looked lighter then mine. Mine r older and are a pumpkin /green pumpkin laminate. Hope they didn't change it cuz when I started using Grande they came in black bag and had the heaviest garlic scent, it would leave a slick in the water and make ur hands greasy after touching 1. I wish they never changed. Falcon lake is a bomb color 2.

Definitely going to try those lifted ewg ned jigs. The regular jigs work great but the downside is they get snagged easily in the ponds and canals I fish.
They were a game changer for me!

Nice haul! My 25 days of savings order from Tackle Warehouse is on the way. I got a bunch of stuff but the highlight is a Gamakatsu shoulder tackle bag. I have been doing a lot of hiking and fishing so I am still on the search for the perfect bag for keeping it light but enough stuff so I don’t feel I left something I needed behind
Yeah, that's something I struggled with this year. I had my bag way overloaded. Got to do some changing up.

As far as video ideas I believe we've already talked about this but would love to see a series where you set up seasonal tackle boxes. Like a day box for each season. Also what do you fish those little ned-craw rigs on setup wise? Spinning?
