I presume this wouldn’t operate as there is zero clearance between ball bearing and race, and will likely fuse when printing… unless I missed a downscaling of the ball before it was rotated into a solid.
We print functional bearings all the time that work quite well. They do have shorter life spans, but they still function. There are ways to extend that lifespan. There is no need to print in place. The parts can be assembled just as easily as any other bearing set
