Does that internal plastic speed sensor gear (on the differential) exist in the manual transmission? I'm having skitzo spedo issues.

I have a 2011 AVEO LS with a manual transmission. the speedometer is not work correctly i replace the sensor but the problem is still, when i drive speedometer is working but after a while , it go down when but the the gear on neutral like the rpm and go work when driving like gear 1, 2 , 3?

I've got a manual transmission. Sometimes the speedometer doesnt work, sometimes it shows double the speed. I've changed the small gear box, the sending unit, and the instrument cluster. What am I overlooking?

What about p0700 ? Is it the same issue ? Still need to change speed sensor or something else

To replace the output speed sensor inside the transmission is it necessary to remove or disconnect the transmission

My 2011 aveo has this problem . coolant in trans and speedo not working. What is the trick to removing the Torque converter bolts from the flexplate I've removed the starter and I can't even see the bolts!! The Chilton just says to remove the bolts. Not how to access them .Help me please. I've removed many transmissions, but not this one.

I have another question, how many teeth have the plastic gear of the sensor?? Because, i’ve found sensor with 30, 31 and 33 teeths. I hope for a soon answer. Thank you so nuch.

great video,i have a 2009 aveo and replaced output speed sensor and also input speed sensor.i check for coolant in transmission and there was none.also checked gear in transmission that it was turning in gear.also checked to make sure the gear was not loose in transmission and it was not loose.the output speed sensor it looks like it get a ground pulse from transmission ecu.could be the transmission ecu? thanks

So I have a 2010 Aveo five speed that was in the flood and is now experiencing that problem how much of a problem is it to replace the gear? I usually do all work myself.

Good thing I got this car manual and can guess my speed based off of my rpms.. And this doesn't seem to be that rare of an issue
