- Although i love my Washburn N24 Nuno Bettencourt Signature i did'nt like its stock Pickups (OBL Bill Lawrence 500XL & Washburn W600) so i put some DiMarzio's i had laying around in (Mo Joe & PAF Joe). And sounding as great as you would expect they were too trebly for my taste, especially because the N24 has nor a Tone Pot neither any Cap.
So i was looking around for some Pickups with decent output and a naturally warmer sound. On Amazon i ended up with a cheap set of Wilkinson Pickups (around 35 EUR), so i decided trying them out giving my good experience with different Wilkinson Pickups in the past.
They did what they're supposed to do: they sound warmer! (meanwhile i set just the Polepieces 1/2 a turn higher to bring back some clarity to the warm sound, with success, but that will be another Video - so check out the channel for some actual CONTENT),
Let me know in the comments which one you liked best!

Wilkinson sounds good to me.
Yes they have their own sound. I like it. But i even like the sound of 2 (!) DiMarzio SuperDistortion. Stay tuned!
Great video.
thanks!
