Jouef made a lot of good stuff. I never pay much for a single wagon with one exception which was a Roco Leig unit or Leig-einheits wagen which is a German set of box vans that are linked together via drawbar and a passage way to load them both faster, They don't show up used for much more than i paid for them, they usually go for $56.00 even used and I found a seller that had the set for 40, Detail pack still not applied, and Roco close couplings, and original box. It was a seller that I always buy from. I'll pay a bit extra for Roco, but I would not buy Heljan's wagons, they look suspiciously like the old Lima tooling somehow, I can buy lima for much less still in box. In fact I can buy 4 lima coaches for the same price.

Yep does sometimes pay to know how makes what, and for who, as a name brand inflates the price tag
