pittchaser just spray it with degrease to remove any excess fuel then with water to wash off the degrease to keep your car, garage floor and road ways clean!
Mate I just changed my fuel filter and found that I somehow had three rubber seals trying to gangbang it onto the center outlet. Was I right to just use a single rubber seal instead of the two that I found mated together. It was a second hand 2010 model and in fairness I was about to do the same.
This might be a stupid question but is it possible to move the location of the fuel filter to under the bonnet of the dmax . And how would someone start.
Anything is possible on this blue and green planet young Jedi. What will determine your frustration is the level of skill and tooling you bring to the table. You can get someone equipped in handling fuel lines to relocate it for you.
My filter was leaking and I went under found out it was loose , so I tightened it and as It started to get snug , I done one more half turn and it just pops loose again , any tips on fixing this ?

Great little video, mate. I'm just about to replace mine also. I've discovered a broken wire on the water sensor as well...there's another $90 🙄

Thomas Shelby you will most likely need to replace the bottom housing(plastic part) as the threads have worn out
Whats the wires at the bottom of the filter for.. Its function?
