The second most common type is rheumatoid arthritis. This is an autoimmune disorder, meaning that the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the joints. This type of arthritis is characterized by joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and fatigue.
Another type of arthritis is psoriatic arthritis. This type of arthritis is associated with psoriasis, an autoimmune disorder that causes red, scaly patches on the skin. The symptoms of psoriatic arthritis include joint pain, stiffness, and swelling.
Finally, there is ankylosing spondylitis, a type of arthritis that affects the spine. It is an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation of the spine and other joints. Symptoms include pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion.
