Thats so cliché what I'm gonna say .. but people going to U of T tend to have more money and can afford this elite kind of school in Toronto. But grades don't define who you are, and being at u of T doesn't necessarily means that you are a top notched student.
Idk about that since Waterloo tuition is significantly greater than UofT. UofT tuition is practically the same as McMasters and queens for what I’ve seen
Did my studies under Engi dept at Waterloo. As long as coop does not fail- it's good. As for all this competition, nobody cares about us outside of Canada.
As a U of T engineering student I can confidently say we are the better university, out of all. Waterloo comes close in terms of engineering and I have a very high respect for people who go there too. U of T> all other universities Sorry, not sorry 😂😅
Not even close. Waterloo engineering/CS/Marh is significantly better in UofT in almost all aspects whether education quality, job placements, and reputations.
Attending a famous university with a decent GPA will help to land interviews. The truth is that only about 15% of the engineering knowledge I learned in university is useful at work. Most skills are acquired from work. After a while, employers just look at your experience; school name becomes less important over time.
as someone who went to york uoft is better than york and waterloo, but when it comes to eng, cs, mathematics waterloo is better there's no debate there.

@@jesoschrist That is true in some sense, but at UofT in your first year you aren't in your program, just a generalist major. You need to apply to your program and compete against everyone in the same generalist as you. Basically, the first rung of the ladder is lower relative to McGill, but the second rung is of entirely different level. What's your take on UofT vs McGill vs Waterloo vs York?
Even if it doesn't compare to UofT, York is still a pretty solid community college to attend.
McGill is superior
You should do a video about the rivalries between UTSG, UTM and UTSC
👀
The hierarchy is reel
wdym rivalries? It's not even comparable lmao.
UofT students from the other 2 campuses might have different thoughts lol. We're always being told we don't go to the "real" uoft :(

It is all relative. Americans don't consider any of these as great schools. They may have heard of Toronto, but not much about U. of T.
We tend to know of UofT and UBC. Not many of us have heard of McGill as much (even if it is very good).
