DCBL are finally in court in September 2020 where this case will be heard before a district judge.
With ian Gould on the case im pretty sure DCBL will be getting there wallet out.

there was a disabled elderley man who called the cops on someone breaking into his garden shed and scouting his home windows, called the cops, they said there was no one available due to being too busy and disconnected the call. old man waited a few minutes then called the cops back and said something along the lines of 'yeah regarding that call i put in a few minutes ago....there's no hurry i just shot the burglar'. needless to say within minutes he had squad cars bazing their lights and sirens blaring, helicopters and fire arms officers..... needless to say they found the burglar huddled in the corner of the shed trying to hide from the lights and sirens. the cops asked the old man 'i thought you said you had shot and killed him' the old man replied 'i thought you said no one was available'..............................

I’m disabled and have 2 children and one night about 11 pm someone was trying to break into my house so I called the police and as I was on the phone they could hear him banging trying to get in, the police told me there’s no one who could come out.
So I stood on the other side of the door with a machete telling him to fuckoff , after about an hour he left I think he was drunk or on drugs, anyway about 5 in the morning the police rang me back and asked if he was still there. The thing is if he came in and I hit him fearing for mine and my kids life, I would be arrested and the police would have been out straight away.

@Roger Allison no, not jackanory. I once had to report teenagers lighting a fire in the middle of the street at 3am and throwing on stolen explosives from the munitions factory down the road. Half an hour later i phoned the law again to ask where the coppers were and i was told " its no use sending anyone out, the kids will be gone by the time we get there"

As an ex bailiff myself, I can say don't be scared to protect yourself and your property against forceful entry. I had a fellow from marstons at my door. Tried to squees past me inside the house. Send him flying through my front yard after I have warned him numerous times. Got up apologised and off he went.. Never saw him since..

Baliffs also need a warrant but they'll usually have one if you haven't paid taxes. Private baliffs can't enter your home at all without a court judge on their side and if you simply refuse them entry -- they have to leave.

My wife went out into our front garden to find a bailiff wheel clamping our minibus for unpaid council tax. Thank God she was there as she was able to explain that we were up to date. The bailiff was reasonable and advised us to take it up with the council and removed the wheel clamp. I took over the case and found out it was for someone else. I contacted the council and they would not withdraw their claim against us unless I proved ownership of the minibus and was not the person in default. I told them to check their records; I added I would sue them if they took further action. Heard nothing again. Total incompetents.

The two guys I who are trying to get into his house aren't police officers I think but they've called for police officer backup, the female police officer came on her own and then decided to call two extra officers in case they needed to arrest him, absolute thuggery and cowardice, the two guys that first showed up were definitely breaking the law by showing up and breaking into his house.
In this situation, absolute worse thing you can do I think is leave the door open, I'd make sure to take my keys with me and shut it behind me so they can't force entry without breaking the door down, that's why the guys kept on trying to shove their way past him, they saw an opportunity and were trying to distract him with the police. Yeah, they don't have the legal ability at all which is why the police are keeping outside because they might have a slightly better knowledge of the law than these guys, but they are just citizens, they don't have the right to access his home as far as I'm aware but someone with more legal knowledge will know better.
I believe the proper legal term for this is right of access.

My friend had these wankers turn up looking for someone who left the property 2 years before, they tried to force entry. She had told them 4 times that the previous tenant had gone. I challenged the yellow bellied cowards from DCBL to come back and meet me at the property, any of them and as many as they cared to bring.
They have never returned or replied.

You're quite within your rights to pick up anything close by to you, throw it at the intruder or swing at them to disable them if they've not willing to remove themselves from your property. If that means you need to snap a finger on the guys hand to ensure he doesn't start taking your property and ensure that he leaves - and remember at this point the victim was on the phone to the police when he started to loot his home!, then you're well within the rights to defend your property, home and yourself.

I had the bailiffs at my home a couple of days ago. The debt wasn’t mine but they clamped my car and and blocked my driveway. They wouldn’t take the clamp or move to let me out to a doctors appointment, as I said they did not come for me or anything to do with me. Has anyone got any advice please. I have complained to the bailiffs but heard nothing. I suffer from mental health problems and it caused massive upset and distress. I had a seizure not long after.
Take them to court, if yoyr unemployed or low income you can apply for funding to do this, and with mental health issues your Likley to recieve it, if they refuse use your doctor to gain the funding stating its made your mental and phisical health detieriote massively.

I'm a postie, and I had a court bailiff demanding his post off me whilst I was delivering. He pulled up next to me in his car and said he was waiting for his court orders so he could go to work. I said that I'm not allowed to give out mail on the street, especially to people I don't know. He showed me his warrant as if he had authority over me and got quite entitled and aggressive. I refused to give it to him, but to be honest I did feel intimidated by him. He was a big bloke, but ever since then I've never felt the same way about court bailiffs.

No witnesses I'm afraid, but Royal Mail sent him a warning letter explaining pretty much what you've said there.
There is a time cut off for personal injury claims, but I think you would have stood a pretty good chance of a -payout- _successful claim_ based on the trauma you sustained during the incident. Especially if, _for example_ you needed to take several weeks off work as a result of any PTSD symptoms you might have been experiencing, any loss of wages or any additional expenditure etc etc. The law is quite clear regarding _potential_ trauma sustained from a provable offence, even if there is no successful conviction. Your occupation and the fact that you can identify him, would probably outweigh the lack of witnesses as it did with your employer. Did the company respond to the warning letter ?
The warning letter was sent to his home address, so it's like a yellow card in football. I doubt he would have told his company about it. Maybe Royal Mail should have notified his company. Another incident would have meant Royal Mail suspending his delivery and forcing him to collect it from the delivery office. He didn't bother me after that, so he obviously took heed.

I had a couple of these pricks enter my house the other week. THE FRONT DOOR WAS CLOSED, didn't knock, didn't ring door bell. Once they were in, they refused to show i.d or warrant & my mother is classed as a vulnerable person yet they still played their intimidation games. Not with me though. I do give credit to the police for removing them but only after I headbutted one of the wankers. I will use reasonable force against anyone that enters my house uninvited.
Bailiffs enforcing a court order do not need to knock or ring the door bell, if the door is unlocked, they can enter. If you know a bailiff is going to turn up at some point, keep the door locked.

Another one of them turned up a week before that, but he was extremely polite and knew what he could and couldn't do. Mum was given time to make phone calls to find out the ins and outs of what was owed and they turned up before that period was over.. again, they refused to show any documentation of who they were or why they were there. We had an issue with bailiffs when we rented a private flat ,the previous renter had loads of debts and they had called round six time in the first year we lived there. i then became pregnant and had health issues and was off work and on bed rest as i had mobility problems. i was woken around 9:30 am by loud bangs on the door my then boyfriend now husband had just left for work and i thought if he'd had forgotten his keys, so i struggled out of bed and slowly plodded to the door allwhile the door was beng banged harder and harder. i got pissed off and opend the door and shouted what the fuck is your problem? There stood a man with leather gloves in a shirt and tie and two coppers. the guy tried to step in to the flat and i asked what do you want ( still pissed off as i was heavily pregnant 8 months and in lots of pain) he asked for the same guy that the people had asked for before and i told the guy in a very patronising tone that he didnt live there .that i and my husband have been renting the flat for over 2 years. And No matter how many times they bang on my door im not going to magically turn in to the bloke they are looking for. The police just stood there while the bailiff continued to try to enter my flat .i told them in a extremely grumpy and pissed off tone that if they had a problem then go talk to the letting agents that the flat was rented out by .the cops then asked if i had any contact details so i told them yes and they could just stay out side while i looked for it i then shut the door quite hard in the bailiffs face, and got the agents business card and gave it to the bigger of the three men at the door ( hint it want the bailiff 😁) and then told them i would be making a call to the offficers supervisor to tell them how they let a pregnant woman be bullied by a man that was be ing aggressive and trying to tress pass and shut the door on them again. Ithen called my husband and broke down crying on the phone telling him what happend. He left work early and went to the police station to complain and told them we wanted an apology .The baby is now 14 years old and we never did get a formal apology from the cops or the bailifs. The only way i stood up to any of them was because i have clinical depression & adhd and it gives me false sense of confidence when i get a bit pissed off so my fight or flight goes in to" fucking bring it on mode" otherwise im very nervous and and will panic at the wind blowing.

Regardless of the quotes you made, what I've posted is a direct quote from the governments own website, you do not have to wait to be attacked to defend yourself, if someone forces entry into your home you are LEGALLY allowed to defend yourself with a weapon if needs be. Would you mind quoting what act/law you are speaking about in your third point? Because my information comes direct from the government, so finding a policy that contradicts it would be rather strange.
The most recent case I can think of is the case where the gent defended his property by taking a weapon and using it against the intruders, obviously in that case the men were armed which means the man has even more rights to defend himself, but regardless of whether they had weapons or not, the fact that they broke into his home gives him the right to use reasonable force against those men without having first been provoked.
I think the fact the enforcement agent was of a much larger stature than the gentleman recording already constitutes a sustantial threat. As you could see the gentleman was clearly reluctant to use force to eject him. He was overpowered and in fear to defend against the intruder, within the confines of his own home, and that says a lot. I would say that serves a warrant for him to grab the biggest knife, he can find, in his home and use it as a deterant.

Anyone who chooses to be a bailiff or debt collector clearly has mental health issues.
There are a small number of them who aren’t ex cons and psychopaths. My friends dad who was 73 at the time had to do debt collection work bc his pension wasn’t covering his family’s living costs. He said he mostly got put on the easier commercial jobs where people would be likely to appreciate a kinder, gentler approach and wouldn’t put up too much resistance, but he had a few where he was quite conscious that he was taking people’s last possessions and putting their families in distress and things. From what I’ve seen the majority of them are wallpunchers with delusions of power, but, and I’d say this about almost any job that doesn’t require specialisation, you’ll get all sorts of people in them. I’ve had to do a few crappy jobs when I was short on money, I’ve even had to do sex work, and I can tell you your morals and your decency can be very difficult things to hold to when you have a tenner to last you three weeks.

The warrant Mr Muppet had is for a business entity no longer at this address & I've been trying to get things changed from a business tariff to a Domestic one (because the broker for the business account is someone I dont know and has run off with his commission probably).
Managed to stop them cutting the supply off, but I'm off to Sweden in...a few hours for work...and if i come back to the UK in a few days to find my electricity has been cut off...well..it's going to be very expensive for SSE and is going to cost the guy breaking in, his job and freedom on the street.

Explain that you consider him to be trespassing with intent to murder you. If he says he is not intending to do that; tell him you do not believe him and that he has 10 seconds to leave or you will use the amount of force necessary to stop yourself from being murdered; and that if he dies, better him than you; self defense is legal.
Then whatever happens is on him. It would probably be best for us all if a few of these intrusive bastards got knocked off; it would send a message to the rest of them and may lead to changes in how these people operate.

I also think its worth mentioning that with genuinely dangerous people, our government's agents have to give several days notice to any place that might be under investigation - plenty of time for them to hide their crimes. This is done because they do not want their agents to be killed. So no un-announced visits from representatives of the state IF they believe you are a a real criminal that is really dangerous. But for the regular, decent, peaceable people; you get un-announced visits, you get abuse, you get no warnings.

I had a a speed boat stollen along with a lot of gear for it approximately worth about £5600 phoned police still awaiting a policeman. They said as the amount stollen in money terms was large it was classed as major theft. After 5 years still no visit or phone calls!

I agree that I would demand to see the document, and I believe the bailiff is legally obliged to show the document, but it's difficult to say what happened off-screen before the recording starts. At least one copy of the writ would have been delivered by hand previously, and I don't know that the bailiff didn't attempt to put the document into the occupant's hands earlier. Many debtors pretend not to be home when delivery is attempted.
Unless it's some kind of elaborate shake-down, it seems unlikely that the bailiff (or enforcement officer to be more accurate) turned up at the guys' flat for any reason other than to do a job.
The occupant refused to show any kind of ID. If he had shown ID, then at that point the bailiff would have definitely been obliged to show the warrant since he was dealing with a person other than the debtor.
My one concern about the bailiff in this video is that he is alone, which seems strange; I would have expected there to be two or three of them. Possibly there was one at the front door and another in the car or round the back of the premises.

Now that I've had a chance to calm down - a bit - I really feel that this sort of behaviour will only stop when the householders start to "repel boarders" in a serious manner. I do appreciate that one has to use limited force, but in this case (although I am not a lawyer) I cannot see any reason why force should not have been immediately used. The thug didn't leave when demanded and actually had started to rummage through the man's property, acting like a burglar.
The wearing of a stab vest would seem to justify a more forceful response, as this clearly shows intent to resist defensive force. I would have removed this intruder far sooner than the householder started calling the police. I am grateful to Crimebodge for this video, as it could also be used to show that this "has happened before" and therefore justifies an assumption that this company not only condones this behaviour, but is willing to have it repeated.
Until such people start getting hurt, I don't think it will stop happening. Sad, very sad that companies never behave in a moral way until such is forced upon them, but that seems to be the era in which we are living nowadays.
