We just have to take the reviewer's word that the Phantom is better but it's difficult to be assured.
I'm with you Miles, Rolls-Royce is famous for their interior woodwork. Combine Beechwood interior trim with Emerald Green exterior paint, and it's Rolls-Royce Heaven! Oh how I wish Rolls offered more wheel selections for the Phantom. The two styles on offer are not enough. The Phantom deserves a wide selection of custom wheels, right from the factory. The Phantom is the King of Cars and I love the way it makes me feel small when I stand next to one! A Rolls-Royce Phantom can make a Hummer owner, Humble. LOL!
I love this non-touch interface Rolls puts on their dashboards. heat, mirrors, ... all things that should be changable while driving have their own knob or button instead of an app on a touchscreen.
I had to chuckle about the lightness of the steering. I have a 2014 Flying Spur and the steering is so heavy, it gives you a workout! But it feels like you are driving a very substantial car.
Finally! I've been really waiting for someone who drove the ghost (i like the looks a bit more) to give his opinion on how the phantom compares. Ok I guess decision has been made, phantom IT IS!

What people don’t understand there’s a big dip on PCH going south bound before Irvine Cove most cars get unsettled. This car took it better then and I have ever seen. And your radius test/ flip a U turn at IC is perfect place to do it because of tight ness and on coming traffic. Once again we’ll dune.
Just want to drive it 1 time. After that, its back seat in a Phantom EWB, sipping Grand Reserve. At 61 I can still dream. Won't happen, but I can still dream.
I had the chance to drive a 2021 Phantom once and it’s an absolute dream. And I agree about the gear lever, I hate those in general and this one I hate with a passion.
The Rolls Royce motor cars are luxury vehicles that are in a class of their own. Nothing else is quite like them. These cars are very quiet and smooth running. Also these Rolls Royce motor cars are bespoke vehicles. A buyer has a wide selection of customization of many items for these vehicles.
I worked at a real high-end resort...sometimes the cool butler would stop by the employee parking and give us a ride down to where we had to go in one of these haha....i had smoked a cig 10 min before getting in once, I still feel bad about it to this day lol

So when he climbed into the back I thought wow, this is supposed to be top of the line luxury and no back seat displays? Then he touched the back of the driver seat and this alien spaceship like screen came out, then I thought wow, I get it now
This is very nitpicky, but I wish they had done a better job integrating the orange side reflectors. They really stick out, especially on such an expensive car. The Dodge Charger and Kia Stinger are good examples of integrating these reflectors well. The Rolls probably does not need these for markets outside the US though, so they were an afterthought. Really enjoyed the review!!!

The wheel designs are lacking, you're right. I imagine owners can customize even those with enough $, but the "standard" choices are hum-drum

Is there a noticeable difference in the way the new ghost and the phantom 8 drive,I’m asking you as you have extensively tested both the cars.

Ghost throttle mapping is a little more "eager," the Phantom steering is lighter, and the Phantom's weight is more perceivable when cornering.
