I plucked a frontal wig in this video I linked and I currently style it in many ways with no problem.. just don’t over pluck any areas and you’ll be able to part it wherever

Great video, however this is not mousse, it’s setting lotion. It sets your style in place after you comb through it. Mousse it’s a holding agent for wet curling hair that you want to look wet all day. Someone not familiar with products may get confused.

Did you apply the mousse on dry or wet hair
It was dry. You can apply it to wet hair too I guess but I think if the hair is already wet you can just skip the mousse altogether and just blow dry it

i’ve been sat here crying cus my nearly $400 wig be looking lifted, even after gluing it down… even after doing a middle parting you couldnt even see it because the hair isn’t flat… going to try this. i live in an area where there isn’t many ppl who do hair and know how to do wigs install. is the hair moose and wax a must or can we just use a hot comb??
That’s just how I like to do it to get it real flat and keep it soft.. i don’t feel like hit comb on it’s own gets it as flat and molded .. I also use fantasia spritz + hot comb parting it section by section so I can make sure I get to the roots.. there’s also a girl who commented on here alternatives, I think it’s pinned.

Can i use that on my daughters real.hair. she flat iron her hair and the forst two days stay flat pretty. Then after the 3rd day the top gets puffy and up. Her hair is naturally curly. But i take her to the salon to.have it straithgen nicely. And 8t stays but the top get annoying. Please help.

Just once … it shouldn’t puff that up that much over night for you to have to do it everyday. I don’t use mouse everyday but I’ll use the hot comb probably every day or depending on how “perfect” I want my hair to lay lol.. if you’re hot combing and flat ironing daily, that’s fine. But mousse and blow drying? Hell naw

I like the pink glosser spray! Makes hair so shiny and it smells good but I don’t use a lot because that’ll weigh the hair down

What if you don’t have an hot comb, what should you use?
Id Get it as flat as possible with the mouse and blow dryer, then just flat iron it and Use a wax stick or holding spray at the top to lay it down when done flat ironing in sections

Synthetic wigs can be flattened like this. It all depends on the quality of the synthetic hair
Sorry my reply got partly cut off. I have a wig by Outre called Shanice. It is a kinky straight model that they used to sell ( they have others now).Anyway...
I did a center part and used a wax stick. Since the wig is heat safe up to about 400 degrees you set the comb below that setting. I used the BACK of the hot comb. I did not use the teeth. ( see a channel called Taste Pink- she installs synthetic wigs often. She may have tips on dealing with them)

spray a little got2be spray on them when you wear the wig , they’ll lay down. But if you have ear tabs, that means you’re wearing a frontal? right?
@@thechachimarie yes, it’s a 6x6 frontal! I’ve only ever worn full lace wigs so I could easily make it lay by cutting the lace to fit me.
Okay yeah spray some got2be over the ear tabs and blow dry for a few seconds on cool or use mousse just over the ears tabs , tye it down and blow dry on heat, it’ll be basically stuck when you untie
