GPS existed since 1960s, if not earlier. It was made available for commercial use in 1983 after USSR shot down Korean air 007. So Ronald Regan, the US president, open it for public use free of cost. 37:30 For the person who says so many lives were given for the independence of Pakistsn - bad history. Not a single Muslim League member went to jail for a single day to get independence. Only Congress leaders went to jail. Secondly, the Muslim lives that were lost at time was AFTER partition. There too, the riots were started when Muslims attacked and killed Sikhs and Hindus in west Punjab leading to retaliation. Had no one attacked Hindus and Sikhs there would have been no retaliation, no riots and no loss of life. Yes thousands of Hindus were killed on Direct Action day due to Jinnah’s orders to insist on partition, but Gandhiji went on a fast to prevent retaliation. You live in Canada and have access to independently written history. Please do not depend on the fake history your father was taught in school when he grew up in Pakistan.
18:00 some correction. GPS was commercially made open in 1983 after Soviet Union shoot down Korean Air 007 after it drifted away and went in Soviet airspace. Ronald Regan made public announcement of it and that's how it came in consumer market

Once the gps was made public initially, the US intentionally degraded the accuracy of regular GPS recievers, due to certain security reasons. This was known as selective availability and was discontinued sometime around the 2000's. Now the accuracy is around a few meters but previously the error was set around 50-100 meters.
GPS uses longer synchronization codes and shorter synchronization codes. For commercial use, it uses shorter codes as the accuracy doesn't have to be pin point and longer codes means more multiplication and accumulate operations (you can google correlation of sequences) which requires lot of power for initial acquisition. This is not practical for most commercial devices.
“Camera ki market, ladki ki kya kaam, Kapda ka dukan piche tha” seems so irrelevant for me, especially looking at the Indian youtube and Insta scene this days.
The third question was answered really well. Overseas Pakistanis don’t understand the day-to-day struggle. Islamabad and Lahore are amazing, but Karachi and other cities are the real Pakistan. zero infrastructure, zero safety, zero justice, courts are useless, anyone can take over your property, shoot you, rob you at gunpoint, break into your house, and police will literally ask for heavy payment to catch someone who robs your house (speaking from personal experience). No one is patriotic enough to let so much sh*t slide. FYI, this is not just hearsay. As an 18-year-old Karachiite myself, my family members and I have experienced almost all of these things firsthand. And don't even get me started on terrorism.
How can Junaid bhai be casual about that Mumbai girl's problem? Her husband is a criminal for sharing photos of other wives without consent. She should file a case against him at the police station; he is a criminal.

I am a med student and i am interested in pursuing neuroscience abroad on scholarship .Therefore, i try to read books on how to win scholarships or write personal statements and how to build your cv etc but obviously the advice such books give are not always applicable in our country 's setting and the state or background of education here . However, it would be very helpful if you could recommend books or ways on how you crafted your application to appease to the admission/scholarship committee etc. I would really like to know the first hand experience of a fellow Pakistani student going through such applications process. I am the first one (girl) in my family to pursue higher education so any guide would be immensely helpful. I would be grateful for any book recommendation or any TH-cam channel. Thank you !!
Junaid Bhai why are you uploading as pending if the video is ready ? I have time to listen to it now, but in 8 hours (when the video premiers) I will be busy with work.
Even abroad, there are very few opportunities for astronomers. Most employees of NASA will not be astronomers. Astrophysics is very different from Astronomy.
NASA also requires one to have US citizenship or at least green card (for non tech roles). It might have been not a requirement before 9/11 but at least for last decade or so, it has always been the requirement. I have stopped by NASA/Boeing/SpaceX counter at career fare of my university in US, and they clearly mentioned "US citizens only for engineering roles".
As a computer engineer myself, I have a suggestion for the young man passionate about space science: pursue a career path in computer engineering/computer science. Start by earning a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering/computer science from a reputable institution such as Fast or another esteemed university. Following this, consider pursuing a master's degree in space sciences abroad. This approach will provide you with a strong foundation in software-related disciplines, which are integral to the field of space sciences. While completing your undergraduate studies, you can supplement your education by taking local or online courses in various aspects of space sciences. Remember to devote yourself wholeheartedly to your studies and endeavours, giving it your utmost effort. With dedication and perseverance, success will surely follow.
Dear Sir, One request/suggestion, can you do a video on reforms made by Indian government to uplift the muslim community of India. e.g., Abolition of triple talaq, equal share of women in property, promote education instead of madarsa and anti conversion bill. Question: Why I am requesting this ? Answer: 1. You seems like a rational person and if there is seriously something wrong in this we will get to know and understand why muslims are opposing this! 2. If these reforms are seriously good then with the help of you not only Indian muslims but also Pakistani muslims will realise what are some evils of their religion and how can they become a progressive society by allowing and accepting some changes. Thank you Hope you will pay attention on my request.
First of all Sir/Madam, in Islam a Man and a women are never equal. Feminism and islam are just like two trees with some branches similar to each other. Otherwise there is no concept of feminism in Islam. And already in Quran Pak, Women are given more rights then men, so this equal share step is extremely worthless for us. As we all know women are physically and emotionally weaker than men. This is a bitter truth , whether you admit it or not, this is the truth. No matter how strong a woman tries to be, she can never be equal to a man. If you are a women, answer that can you lift a 10 kg sac of flour alone. The answer is simply NO. But a man can alone lift a 10 kg sac alone. In Islam, religious education and worldly education should be acquired together. It means Religionn and World together. So your this step of education instead of Madrasa is simply useless and Rubbish. This step is not to uplift Muslim community of India, it is to uplift Hindu community of India. Secondly, the Abolition of triple talaq, so for your information, in Islam there is no such concept of restriction on remarrying for the 4rth time after divorce or divorcing for the 3rd time. This demand of yours has no importance in the eyes of us Muslims as our Holy Prophet S.A.W got married 11 times according to his need. He always set a good example for the Muslim Ummah. So you have no right to point a finger at our religion. Finally Anti conversion bill, so it is simply showing off. If you look at the past, you will remember the steps of Shudhi and Sanghtan in which the efforts were made to forcibly convert the Muslims of India into Hinduism. History proves that Hindus were never Sympathetic with Muslims and their separate Homeland. Whatever happens in Pakistan, we are at peace with this thought that atleast we can freely practice our Religion over here. Not only Muslims, Hindus can also practice their religion freely. And you must remember that Babri mosque Incident. Lastly, Junaid Akram doesn't have enough spare time to make a video on this nonsense. THANKYOU.
Junaid, even in western countries opportunities in non IT fields like astronomy is very limited. United States is the only country in the west that truly has positions relevant to engineering. I studied and worked in US for a decade, and quality of education and work was always top notch. When I relocated to India, companies were impressed by some of the work I did in my field. My mentors in India who had done masters/PhD from top universities in India and 10+ years of experience mentioned such level of research is very rare. Later I moved to Canada directly from India, again my US experience helped me a lot in interviews. But in Canada, the quality of work is nowhere close to what it was in US. Australia/UK/Europe in general is even worse than Canada when it comes to tech jobs. I know many mechanical, aerospace engineers in Canada/UK/Australia who are working on odd jobs. So when you say west has lot of scope for engineering and research, in 90 % cases or more, it is just the United States.
Astronomy is different from astrophysics. Forget Pakistan, there is less scope even in Western countries. Sure, you have places like NASA but they only select the best. Also, most people working at NASA are Mechanical, metallurgy, or propulsion engineers, not astronomers. Astronomy jobs would be limited to certain universities, observatories, etc. It is wiser to have an engineering degree and learn physics and applied maths to help you pursue your interest in astronomy. I am an AI specialist (professor) and I can tell you the future of astronomy would also be largely taken over by AI...from image enhancements to clustering, to tracking, to simulations and predictions.
Hey, as u said u are an AI specialist, Judging by that, u must have knowledge about the jobs and industries that are vulnerable to AI. I would like to know what should people pursue if they want to have longevity in their career’s Please guide me and other people that might view this comment.
@@mitalicops8538 That will depend on what stage of life you're at and where you are located. I can only predict short term, not long term because one breakthrough can change the entire scenario. For instance, 15 years ago when I was finishing my PhD from quite a prestigious university doing cutting edge research, most sophisticated AI algorithms were probabilistic and discriminative. Deep learning was just at its infancy and not being taken seriously because of huge computational requirements. It was not until 3-4 years ago that generative AI got popular and we things like ChatGPT, and image/video content generation. Back then, I would have told you being an actor or photographer is AI proof but today it is not. Having said that, anything that needs creativity will survive AI at least in the short term. You just need to be good at what you do. Anything that is more routine work can and will probably be replaced by AI. There are other factors as well..for instance, AI today can replace your average doctors for day-to-day diagnosis. However, regulations and the human touch that a person provides are not available with AI. Having said that, some of the vulnerable sectors (still the best people will be employed to generate content and oversee the AI) include accountants, cashiers, typesetters and editors, non-complicated factory work, travel agents (already most of us look online rather than ask the agent to find the best tickets), etc. Careers that are likely to remain in demand include specialist doctors, surgeons, computer scientists (high-end), AI experts, robotics, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, nursing, administrators and managers, as well as technical jobs like hair dressers, cosmetologist, coaches and trainers, musicians, etc. Having said that, it is not that all jobs in there former category would go away or everyone the latter category will get a job. It is just that more AI will replace the former and less the latter. Also, competent and creative people would remain in demand for the foreseeable future.
@@mitalicops8538Life long learning is the solution along with applying what you know to other industries. Even if he tells you areas that are likely to be disrupted by AI in next 5 years, he can’t predict what would happen in 10 years. Any one career cannot provide you life long security. All the best.

For the first guy, come to America for a Master's or PhD in AstroPhysics. These are usually fully funded programs. Of course you have to work on research, getting papers published etc. After that you can try to work at some research facility. The issue of working with NASA is that you have to be a U.S. citizen. So it will be a very long wait before you can become a citizen and, therefore, eligible to work in NASA. Lots of universities, but I will recommend the AstroPhysics departments in the following two universities: University of Missouri, Columbia; University of San Antonio, Texas. I just happen to know people in these universities, and they love the department.
No, that is not entirely true in the case of NASA due to the fact that to work at NASA, particularly in positions that involve access to sensitive information or technology, being a U.S. citizen is typically a requirement due to national security concerns. However, there are some opportunities for non-U.S. citizens, especially in roles that do not require security clearance or are part of international collaborations. NASA employs a diverse workforce, including contractors, interns, and fellows, and collaborates with universities and institutions worldwide. For non-U.S. citizens, these avenues-such as participating in research projects through partnerships with their home country's space agency or educational institutions-can provide pathways to engage with NASA's work. Additionally, certain positions might be available to legal permanent residents (green card holders) or individuals who have specific visas that allow for employment in the U.S., but these opportunities are more limited and highly dependent on the specific job requirements. It's also worth noting that NASA, like many other scientific and technological institutions, values international collaboration. Through these collaborations, non-U.S. citizens can contribute significantly to NASA's projects and missions without being directly employed by the agency.
Also for non-residents of the USA, opportunities to work directly at NASA are limited due to security and export control laws, which typically require U.S. citizenship for employment, especially in roles that involve access to sensitive or classified information. However, there are still some pathways through which non-U.S. citizens can engage with NASA and contribute to its missions and projects: Collaborations and Partnerships: NASA frequently collaborates with other countries' space agencies, universities, and research institutions. Non-U.S. citizens can work on NASA-related projects through these partnerships, contributing their expertise while employed by their home institutions. Contractors and Vendors: Some companies that contract with NASA may have opportunities for non-U.S. citizens, depending on the nature of the work and the security requirements. These roles could range from scientific research and engineering to IT support and other technical services. Internships and Fellowships: While many of NASA's internships and fellowships require U.S. citizenship, there are exceptions, particularly for programs designed to foster international collaboration. These opportunities are more likely to be found through partnerships between NASA and educational or research institutions outside the U.S. Visiting Scientist Programs: Certain programs allow scientists and researchers from around the world to visit NASA centers for collaborative work. These positions are typically short-term and are arranged through specific agreements between NASA and the participant's home institution. Education and Public Engagement: Through educational initiatives and public outreach programs, non-U.S. citizens can engage with NASA's mission and share knowledge and enthusiasm for space and science with broader audiences. It's important to research specific opportunities and understand the eligibility requirements for any position or program of interest. Networking with professionals in the field, attending space and science conferences, and connecting with institutions that have established relationships with NASA can also provide pathways to involvement with NASA projects. Additionally, for those deeply interested in pursuing a career with NASA or in the U.S. aerospace sector, exploring pathways to U.S. permanent residency or citizenship could expand future employment possibilities.
So I will bet that either those students have applied for visiting science program or for a fellowship which is possible for a person who is not a USA citizen
Oh I see. Lots of international students who were at my university were straight up denied to be considered for NASA. So I assumed that it is for citizens. Some positions are for green card holders but those positions are very few. But well the person who is interested can reach out to perhaps the departments and clarify all this. Regardless, there are other options too apart from NASA. Don't give up your dream.
@@ajum89 They maybe denied on the basis of their merit or CV purposes. My uncle and elder brother both went to work for NASA from Pakistan straight. My brother worked for NASA on contractual basis and then left due to getting a more lucrative deal somewhere else and my uncle even though started on contract but become a permanent employee and have been working there for 21 years.

Had no one attacked Hindus and Sikhs there would have been no retaliation, no riots and no loss of life.
Yes thousands of Hindus were killed on Direct Action day due to Jinnah’s orders to insist on partition, but Gandhiji went on a fast to prevent retaliation.

And don't even get me started on terrorism.

hey @fightfanatic9102 ! i hope you are well.

Dear Sir,
One request/suggestion, can you do a video on reforms made by Indian government to uplift the muslim community of India. e.g., Abolition of triple talaq, equal share of women in property, promote education instead of madarsa and anti conversion bill.
Question: Why I am requesting this ?
Answer:
Thank you
Hope you will pay attention on my request.
Hey, as u said u are an AI specialist,
Judging by that, u must have knowledge about the jobs and industries that are vulnerable to AI.
I would like to know what should people pursue if they want to have longevity in their career’s
Please guide me and other people that might view this comment.

However, there are still some pathways through which non-U.S. citizens can engage with NASA and contribute to its missions and projects:
Collaborations and Partnerships: NASA frequently collaborates with other countries' space agencies, universities, and research institutions. Non-U.S. citizens can work on NASA-related projects through these partnerships, contributing their expertise while employed by their home institutions.
If the video is ready then just post it. There’s no point having people wait who are willing to watch it.
