      Yep and even if they did get drive +1, it still wouldn't matter much since units on RG can't drive check anyway (outside of effects that explicitly allow them too like Keter's OT)

    The double sacc-y one-ofs reminds me of when Maxx "C" was at 1. Regardless of if you think it should be at 0 or 3, 1 is always the wrong answer.

    If it was to truly be an OT counter, i wish it was -2 critical instead. I feel like that makes more sense since Brandgt Gate OT is just gonna not care.

      Or if the effect was to perfect guard the attack right? I guess then the Dragon empire OT would get around it though.

      Even if it was -2, afaik, you can resolve the additional effect before giving the 100 million. So you can double your crits before the reduction applies.
      But that's just BG OT being the sackiest one in an already very sacky mechanic.

      Except against Brandt Gate, Dark States, Stoicheia, or any deck that runs the new crit OT. So maybe half of the time if you're lucky.

    I love Regalis pieces as a concept. It would be cool if we got a Unit who could play multiple ragalis pieces w/dif names in their deck and then like add 1 on attack.

      Regalis piece has already in built that you can only have and use 1 in fight.
      I think its a pretty hard concept to do a card that can allow you to use again if that card is placed/act/cont on V/RG.

    The "Anti-Over Trigger" probably should have said "all units with over 100 Million power have their critical set to 0."
    Then it could depower even Gravidia and Star Gate OverTrigger.

      @@nightmareyandere2886 the shield is not a regalis piece. regalis piece means you can only play one copy of that card under that category you can play the shield with any regalis piece but not 2 regalis piece together in the same deck

    The new regalia be like you active it before vanguard swing cope that what you picked was right or PG first then deal with sacky OT later with this. Still stick with fake persona ride, or the yesterday one with G4 deck or heavily G3 focus deck.

    At this point im starting to agree with people who dislike overtriggers. But ive noticed a split in how people view them. They either hate that their opponent drive checks them and it ends games, or they hate that the opponent damage checks them, stopping their super turn. This second part makes no sense, as more defensive options means longer, more skill based games. And the OT has saved my life more times than it has ended games for me. (Seriously its like i only have 1 heal trigger in deck with how little it ever shows up.) As such, i propose this. Either overtiggers become defensive, with a reduction to only power plus 20k and defensive additional effects, or, get rid of the power boost abd just have defensive additional effects

      Both offensively and defensively, they are bad.
      Vanguard is mostly built on tempo and/or crucial kill turns.
      Defensive OTs randomly make you autowin the tempo game OR completely obliterate the crucial kill turn, which virtually always flips the match's outcome.
      Defensive options are cool when they can be accounted for and skillfully played towards. That is not what OTs are at all. An OT saving your life when a normal trigger couldn't have, still ended a game. It simply ended your opponent's game.

      @Solemn Vanguard thank you very much for replying. I genuinely thought no one would even see this comment. But if defensive overtriggers are just as bad as offensive overtriggers, then I feel as if the problem is less about overtriggers and more about the very nature of the game itself. I noticed that you keep mentioning crucial kill turns, but that's just it. Vanguard is an inherently swingy game mostly focused on offense. There will always be a chance for a crucial kill turn simply because of the very rules of the game. What there will not always be, is a chance for you to survive, so saying that defensive overtriggers end games may be premature. There simply aren't enough defensive options in the game for overtriggers to be phased out.

    With the amount of order they have and they are somewhat crucial and decks are already very tight I wish they have something like a new side deck with only orders

    The OTs should've been +20/30k power at most. And the effs should've been quite literally half of what they do.

      +20k makes the math just a bit harder, still does what OTs should do, but makes it possible to guard. Completely agree! The abilities are a bit much, but the +100m is just overboard. I still think they could keep the 50k shield, though.

      Yeah they should've just been a rainbow trigger with +20/30k pw with 40k shield, tho 50k seems fine.

    The Brandt ot interaction is interesting. You give the 100 mill and draw before the additional effect. Since the unit is given the 100mill, it's crit goes to 0 and then is doubled which is still 0.

      You can technically give power to a booster which will allow 1 1c 100 mill swing.

    I have a suggestion, and this technically adjusts stand triggers too, so I'm not sure if that's safe, but what is premium just has a game format rule that says "triggers only give 10k power regardless if what their printed value is" so that the only other that does 100mil, is the cray elemental one. Makes it a sack out choice, but all the other ots lose the critical part of them that unbalances them too far. Then if the 100mil is too good we ban that OT from premium.
    But if stands become 10k triggers, does that make them too good?
