Hey Bella. Looked at your swing, got an easy thing for you to develop that will make a massive difference to your ability to strike consistency, accuracy and power. If you look at your swing @9:30 you can see on your backswing your weight shifts too far too your toes and your head and upper body moves forwards (towards the ball), hence why you have to go onto your toes. This is then a big compensation you have to correct in your downswing and is causing you loss of power, accuracy, strike. Cure - Sit on your heels at address and throughout your entire backswing, feeling like your weight is staying on your heels throughout your backswing; do slow motion videos down the line on the range and see how your line of your forehead hopefully then doesn't move forward. If you sort this on your backswing your downswing will learn to redevelop to match this much better backswing. Good luck x
Well done Bella. Loved the video. It’s a joy to watch women play. No machismo just elegant, smooth golf swings. I’m sooooo jealous!!! Lol. Keep it up! X
Zac Radford uses the term "roll the rock" for his putts. I just clicked on Bella's video after watching Tig and Zac's latest video, and it was funny to hear you two talking about "roll the rock".
In basketball in the US, I've heard the term "Dish the rock" (pass the ball for an assist) is used in reference to the ball all the time in pickup games I've played in. I'm assuming that "Rock" is simply a slang term for a ball.
Great group of videos was fun watching them. You and bells are charmers and a naturals in front of camera. You are correct it is “roll the rock” means drain putts. I hope you girls had a lot fun
Yeah, 'roll the rock' is a thang. It's an expression from curling used here and there. The curling stone is also referred to as 'rock' as they're made out of granite. A 'roll' in curling is the movement or manipulation of the 'stone' within the house. So ya see, rolling the rock in golf makes total sense now! It's how well you putted the ball. "I sure the F! rolled the rock today, mate!" Maybe work that in to your next video. There's another funny expression called teabagging, altho as a Brit ya may not want to know that one 😏⛳🍁
Way back in the day, Pinnacle golf balls were nicknamed "Rocks" because they were one piece construction and felt like a rock when you hit one. So when on the green, Roll the Rock, referred to putting with a Pinnacle.

'roll the rock' is correct. carry on..
Bella what is your handicap
Also, Topflites were called "rockflites" since they were so hard. Thus, "roll the rock" applies to putting any golf ball...
Rolling the dice!?
