    Jeff, why can't all of your videos be like this? No screaming, no crazy accent, just an informative easy to watch video. I'm not sure if all of your videos have you acting that way, but after 2-3 that were posted after this, I had found it hard to take you seriously. Notice how no one is complaining in the comment section about this one lol? Good video ^_^

    gotta say it jeff, you are much more digestible when you pass your awesome level of knowledge on without yelling "let's go!" every 1.7 minutes:) you know your info, got it down. i study about 7 other guys every day, just want the knowledge, but i come back to you all the time because you know what the hell you're doing. i think it's that buckskin jacket that makes you go "energizer bunny", or what's in the pocket that you're smokin'-maybe? anyway, you're a very smart guy, highly skilled, and got nothing to prove. yell all you want, i'll tune-in to the ones where you're not wearing the jacket:) i've learned tons from you-energizer-and i'm grateful.

    Thank you Jeff! This is an awesome video! I picked up a couple of mines from GRE that go down a couple a hundred feet or so. The tailings are 1000+ tons of tailings that has that dark iron ore that looks like it was melted together under extreme heat. From you, I learned that I need to zero in on that area. I like your Ryobi gas powered drill! That was funny that you mentioned about the old timers working all day on breakin' rock."You want gold!" "You got to earn it!" Ain't that the truth!

      Acutally, that return is pretty much awesome because the guy's only just prospecting. When he goes to mining, the money's in volume - so a day mining, say 100 buckets worth becomes a paying day. 9gr for 5 buckets paid for his diesel and gasoline for that day. It doesn't get any better than that!

    • @Meekerextreme
      @Meekerextreme 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is what I wondered, one bucket it seems not worth the time. I mean it takes a lot to go out to the site in terms of fuel, wear & tear, your own sweat and then to go through all that to only get 9 grams versus being a professional maybe double that in 18 hours (assuming 2 days it took). Of course he also didn't say how far he planned to chase the vain either...now that he knows it's good I think you would go out and work it and do most of this onsite. However is this even his claim or is he stealing minerals? I think his real payday is from the videos, nothing wrong with that.

    Jeff, a while back, I bought some land in Nevada. My land is almost dead center in a valley where there are several abandoned mines. There is a water runoff channel that crosses my land. So, do you think my chances of finding gold or silver on my land are worth the effort? This valley has almost no development, even the railroad spur going to the old mines was removed about 80 years ago. There's been no significant activity in the valley since then.
    Let me know your opinion on the matter.

      ***** The name of the valley is Pilot Valley, north of I-80, between the towns of West Wendover and Montello. In the past, the mining activity was for Silver, but, to my understanding, an open-pit Gold mine has been opened a bit north of there in Tecoma Valley. There's also an open-pit mine to the SSE of Pilot Valley, South of I-80, but I'm not sure what's being mined in that one. I hope this helps, as I haven't been out there since the Spring of '92.

    So.. for all that work - and we've only seen a small part of it, and those expensive tools, like that saw, you probably netted about $250, that's if you dealt directly with the refiner. I get it, I'm a panner, and about it's potential, but shit, I've been a union construction laborer and didn't have to work THAT hard. I bet there's much more to the videos that's left out - like the gashes and sutures and bruises and blisters and sweat an days off needed to heal in between.

I saw one video where the guy had a regular garage type vacume and was picking up fines in between rock, how cool is that. He found enough to pay for his day..Thank you for the reply..

    I've been doing a lot of stone work with slate and such, and we sometimes have to cut a piece to get it to fit in the project...we use a diamond saw which we can use with water, or dry, and i had the idea that you could take out large blocks of stone with it... basically, by cutting a square out with the saw, and then using a wedge to break the block out, so you could quickly excavate areas around a deposit like this... what do you think about doing something like that?
