This is a perfect video to show people who buy a new sled that they need to take it in after 500 miles for service. Every snowmobile manufacturer tells you to bring your sled in for service after 500 miles so they can check over the sled and address any issues. Your videos are great and always a good laugh. Keep up the good work and beer drinking.

The skidoo backcountry top wheels are loose like that to atleast on the 2021. They have the same setup on top wheels with the collar with the set screw. I loosen the set screw and push the collar over against the wheel seam to take up the play. My 2022 the upper wheels are tighter but still have little play. But the skidoo's have the cmotion suspension where it tilts side to side.
You should check ur buddies backcountry top wheels.

Pete, Need your advice. We have a 2004 Yamaha Viper that refuses to idle properly. Tends to rev high on start up and when riding revs high when coming to a stop. Often have to hold the brake to keep her from getting away on us, she settles down to a normal idle after 30 seconds or so. If we turn the idle down it just stalls eventually. Carbs are squeaky clean. Any ideas? Thanks, Murray from Hanover.

kind of hard to say without actually seeing the sled but if it's idling high I'd be checking the free play in the throttle cable, the choke cable and plungers for proper operation and for air leaks causing a lean condition possibly 🤔 carb boots and crank seals...hope that helps 🍻

@@ericoverdorff8880 I moved to southern Ontario about 6 years ago, mostly trail riding around here, not a lot of lakes where I live now. We really don't get a lot of snow. Sled would get used maybe 6-10 weeks out of the year. The apex seems to be the most bang for the buck. I can get a nice one for around $4500 coming from old early 90's sleds this would be a big upgrade to me. As for the wheels, if you ride them in low snow or dirt that will happen, the bearing is harder than the shaft and it looked worn to me. Again 1800mi. and no maintenance.

You should try and figure out how to do this on stage as a comedy act with all these one-liners. Take it on the road. Just don't forget to take the beer fridge.

What a pile. I'm an American and this is a testament to what happens when China has done the heavy lifting for decades. Our workforce has gotten way soft on the skilled craftsmanship. Used to be the other way around, not that long ago.

Interesting they routed the exhaust that close to the brake rotor. If that is a catalytic converter, that will be super hot and will heat soak the rotor. Can someone comment on this?

Saw a Polaris documentary on TH-cam that said the Fusion broke sled sales records for Polaris and helped to save the company not ruin it. Still the Fusion has a bad rap. Maybe there were so many made that a lot of them were abused and blew up.
