Reminds me of the cozy camp trips I took with my family as a kid when we would spend rainy days in our tent playing cards where the loser of the card game would end up having to be the person to go out and put more wood on the fire to keep it going during the rainfall. Nice job. I have been listening to other creators of rain and weather as I sleep, and since I am a new listener to you, it may not apply. Most rain recordings are fine, however no matter when in the multi-hour I sample, each sounds identical...... Like it's a 30 second sample looped a 1000 times...?.not like real storms, which vary throughout a rainy night.... MY QUESTION: Is it all FAKE NEWS? ....LOOPED X ZILLION? Why? I want variation in storm intensity. Guessing most listeners do.
There is SOME looping, but I try to minimize it in my offerings as much as possible. In this particular video, I use four different rain tracks overtop of one-another at different speeds and at different tones to create the most natural and non-repeating sound possible. It's harder with thunder sounds - but not impossible. I'll have more rain sleep videos coming out in the next few weeks. I'll work to make them as natural as possible for you! Thanks for the feedback.
Ah yes, remind me when me and my friend go to the mountain. Heavy rain, wind, and a leaking tent. 😂
