53 year old female, 8 weeks out of posterior approach hip replacement on the NHS here. I just wanted to thank you, your VLogs were more informative and helpful than anything provided or explained to me by the surgeon or nurses.

I’m six weeks post op and totally back to normal in every respect. I didn’t realize how much pain I had been in for so long (63 years old). I was too frightened to get the surgery, and it turns out it was NOTHING. Don’t be afraid-just do it. I was walking around the house unaided after 3 days and driving at 2.5 weeks. Texas Hip and Knee is the BEST. It no longer even crosses my mind that I even had a hip replacement.

Glad you're free of the pain...that must feel wonderful! You're not even close to healed at six weeks though. It takes 9 months for your implant to bond completely with your femur. So just don't go too crazy! 😉
