We were separated for almost 1.5 years. Been talking for the last 6-7 weeks. He seems different but situation is not drastically different than before - which is fine for now but we’ve already done “this” and it didn’t work for me. Things need to evolve and grow, not just stay at the shallow noncommittal stage (again). We’re going out of town for a couple of days, which we have never done. Too be fun regardless but we’ll see if he goes back to his noncommittal conversations or if things are going to progress. I don’t even want a lot of progress, just some. If not, I’ll probably be done. Before me, he was in a ten year off and on relationship that obviously went nowhere. I’m not repeating that.
