    I sensed the gender fluidity of Adarsh's character very clearly since the beginning. His love for his male friend was so beautifully portrayed.

      Yup, many instances. For me, the altercation on the ability of women being able to handle businesses was a subtle but stand out build up to how it ended.
      Both Raj & DK were composed in their answer, but could feel the pain in their eyes. The question from Anupama was more of a reflection of her or the research team having done a quick rush through the show to be ready for the interview, without actually taking time to digest the whole show.

    Clues for the chota ganchi character’s change were there from the start. His dialogues about why not women could not head such operations and all that.. even his body language became evident to me in the middle of the series suddenly, like his way of moving itself suggested this.. I’m surprised AC didn’t get it

    The fact that Adarsh's character was gender fluid I recognized very early on in the series. He seemed to admire and appreciate the attractiveness of both genders and was especially tender with his male friend. Very well played by him.

      Everything that they've done is in Hindi. How are they making Telugu proud? They got their break in Hindi cinema, made names and careers in Hindi cinema working with Hindi speaking actors and now suddenly they are pride of Telugu? I don't really care. but since you brought it up, you know.. a reality check.

    @dennis00ism ปีที่แล้ว +17

    Anupma ji, I'm writing this comment before Raj finishes answering your question. I haven't seen your review, but I disagree with you about Chota Ganchi's transformation not being organic. For me, it felt very natural and surprising at the same time. I could clearly see the pain that Adarsh conveys through Chota Ganchi's eyes. His behavior was consistently authentic, leading up to the ending those guys presented. When Chota Ganchi asks, 'ladki hoti toh,' it's evident that there's something deeper going on. What intrigued and puzzled me was Chota Ganchi's behavior towards his friend's wife. Perhaps season 2 will reveal whether it was just a façade or if he has genuine feelings for both genders.

    • @dennis00ism
      @dennis00ism ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And btw, Adarsh was beyond awesome in portraying that character. He was actually the heart of this show for me.

    • @dennis00ism
      @dennis00ism ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was fresh because they didn't make it obvious. Yet it was coveyed through the acting that there's something going on. The audience could feel even when it was not made blatantly obvious. Amazing job by all the parties.

    Guns n Gulabs , Anupama ji how can u like such illogical narrative , just to invest in retro feel clothes bikes padminis retro music doesn’t mean creativity ! Very bad writing , everyone wants to show same drug cartel world which is so boring ,everything is predictable repeatative , no character graph of Tipu ,no threat on characters , unnecessary kids tracks in the name of sub plot which gives nothing in the narrative, tell me who’s performance you remember ? Bad dialogues bad screenplay !! I mean still you feel it’s a good narrative ? Just to create retro vfx subtitles you can’t take all credits ! Anupama ji review it properly ! Thanx
