This is my 2 year experience with santro which I want share with all of you, don't take it anyone personaly. I don't know not very much about Tiago.. but my family and me are very happy with santro. I purchased era model in 2019 and nothing problem on this since time. Its very simplistic, comfortable, well refined, nice handling, large and specious, average about 18kmpl in city and 20 in highway... really its good car in my opinion... thank you friends.

I don't know about Tiago. But new Santro is amazing. So smooth and comfortable and powerful, space for 5 adults, noiseless, easy to drive, looks classic and reliable. Best small car. But of course costlier.

@@sharadranajava depends on how you accelerate it...I usually get 18 with ac on highways I get 21 with ac maximum speed of 80 to 90.

I am driving 2020 Santro Sportz AMT from last 2 months. Great experience for everyone in my family. My female family members can drive it easily without any trouble. Dual tone interior makes the cabin space large.
No Noise at all. Attractive interiors. Powerful AC with rear ac vents and nice quality overall. A must buy for a small family and daily commutes.
Tata's build quality, Hyundai's grand i10 nios interiors and NVH and maruti baleno's engine and CVT gearbox. My dream hatchback.

Tiago 3yr + se use ker raha hoon....koi pblm nahi aaya hai....18k + chal chuki hai.....long trip kerta hoon.... maximum 550 in a day kiya hoon..... highway mei mileage bohot achha hai...22-24 with ac deta hai....I m fully satisfied....

I think Tiago is premium and far way better than Santro. I own a diesel tiago and have done 500+ kms at single stretch many times & I must say no small car can give this confidence and comfort.
Since I bought it in Nov 19 . Can't comment on maintenance. But this is my 2nd tata car zest being the 1st. It is stable, drives mounted and manoeuvrability is amazing. The only complain is the headlights are not bright to drive at night in rainy. Music system is one of the best . I can say it beats other cars even in segment above.
Also the service centers are getting better day by day. After my 1st free service I got several calls from service center & TATA Motors itself enquiring about the servicing experience. I am super proud of TATA. If I plan to buy another car, without a second though it would be TATA.

I own a Tiago and yes performance shud be far better than a 68 bhp engine with 99 nm of torque!!
Edit: Since i Drive in the hills i found out that Cornering Stability Control (CSC) is really useful !!

Go for santro without doubt. It's very good car. It's smooth, silent, comfortable and 5 people can sit easily. But not powerful and milage is average.
I drove both the cars and I can tell you Tiago is the best car. As he said Tiago lags in one department that is the company fitted CNG version. Journalists have to recommend it to the company so they can think about it and get the CNG varient of Those cars

One of my cousins has been driving the tiago xz for 4 years and as far as i've asked him, he has nothing to complain about it. My other cousin has a tiago xz for approx. 2 years ans he's also satisfied.

Hi Rachit, I am watching all of your reviews very closely. In my case, I am looking for a new car. currently, I have Tata Nano GenX AMT (top version) and I am really proud of this car as it's very easy to drive and takes a very little space to park. But as Tata silently discontinued this car, So, I have chosen the all-new Tiago after watching your review. But, I am not buying. Why? I need full LED lamps (front and rear in the year 2020-2021) and a back seat headrest and hand rest. So, will wait for next Tiago or will switch upcoming Polo with DSG or Tiagun or Skoda compact SUV or Nissan compact SUV.

Yes bcz Tata add the balancer shaft which reduces the vibrations and noise
@@eustacheneilson3147 tata has better stability and handling and you never miss on power. Okay the engine is not that refined but you only feel ir around 3500 rmp and honestly all small engines suffer at this point.

Neways when compared with the Nios , the nios is better in terms of NVH levels gear shifting which is a bit clunky in the tiago and fit and finish levels are better in the nios .Tiago is a value for money car, if budget is not restraint then go for the nios but Tiago top model is better nios magna model!!

@@eustacheneilson3147 you have not driven a bs6 tiago, if you have driven it, it's a huge improvement from bs4 version, the engine is now peppy, even swift is faced with a tough competition in acceleration compared to new tiago bs6.

Tiago has 3 cylinder 2 valve/cylinder engine whereas Santro has 4 cylinder 3valve/cylinder engine...So, please let me know which one is better? Shall I go for Tiago as its a 4star rated car?

I bought tiago at launching and spent more than 4 years now. If you don't count safety and still tiago wins the race against santro, celerio or wagonr due to its stability and comfort which is better than swift or neos also. Only with better nvh levels and linear power delivery tiago will beat swift or neos by miles,but that will increase price also. Still it's the Best choice up to 7 lakh rs.

Hyundai salesmans convinces, requests customers to give 10 out of 10 rating after sale service , once it is done ✅, they will not be courteous to pick up your call, their hospitality is only therotical . I myself had this experience. Now thinking to purchase Nexon.
Broadly , how will India's GDP grow without purchasing purely make in India products, Tata sons is not a business company but it's totally a charitable trust, 60% of its income goes in charity.
Lastly Tiago is really a safe car than Santro, it's 100% true, if you really care for your family then think of Tiago, otherwise go by blind remarks of so called talanted people , who never had purchased / experienced Tata cars but will blindly say - don't buy Tata cars! What a hopeless thinking.

I bought the Tiago petrol top end model in December 2019. I drive on both the highway and the city. I get a mileage of 16 when the AC is running while driving in the city. When I drive on the highway with AC on, I get a mileage of around 19 by using a combination of Eco and City mode. Use Echo mode only if you are constantly driving on the highway in top gear. Preferably do not use economy mode in the city. If you are an enthusiastic driver then this car is not for you. This engine may not provide the power it needs in the beginning. The engine vibrates in first and second gear. When driving at speeds of 100 or more on the highway, the vehicle has a steady and strong grip on the road The brakes and suspension work perfectly. The build quality of the car is very strong. If you have any more questions ask, I will try to answer you soon

After facelift new Tiago is very close to Altroz from front, that makes it more appealing and a macho look between the Santro and Tiago.
