8k on the tach is just because the green wire on the fuel tank (fuel level sensor) is disconnected....How many turns out did you eventually go on the fuel mixture screw did you keep it at 2? I initially went 2 and half as a starting point but found it was really rich and turned it down to 1 and a half the bike runs better but I feel its slightly lean now so is 2 turns the sweet spot I wonder
Thanks I did find out that it was because the tank wasn’t on. I haven’t done any final adjustments to the tune yet. I generally don’t till it’s been ridden a few times. I’ll do another vid on final setup including balance. Thanks for the info I will keep it in mind when I’m doing it.
