Indiana has amazing caves. There are thousands of documented caves and god only knows how many that are yet to be discovered. From central Indiana down the land is absolutely riddled with them.
Too bad he visited one of the worst ones, and usually its locked down by the local grotto clowns who think they own it so no one else can see it unless they join their cult. Or if you know Studebaker pit connects, you can go in that way by asking the homeowner. There's way cooler ones in indiana anyhow.
Really appreciate your video, because I was in both those caves in the early 1970's, and remember most of those places. Great fun. The old knees would be hamburger if I tried that now, so it's great to have your video to bring back the good times.
I have never went caving but trying to experience what the group did in the video. What's a good first cave ? I don't want to go on a tour or group I'm trying to free cave and explore on my own
@@ChanceJr, I would keenly advise against going in any cave alone and be sure to let at least one or preferably 2 people know when and which cave you plan to explore and when to expect you to return. Salamander Cave is an OK beginners cave as I recall. It's been almost 60 years though, so I can't tell you exactly where it is.
I'd have to disagree. My daughter at age 8 did the majority of it, we have done what everyone calls indianas most challenging cave and it was nothing compared to some in tag. Indiana is the best place for beginners, iv been to 100s in indiana and have yet to find one that is actually dangerous or difficult if you just pay a slight bit of attention.
It's nice to visit some old friends. Sullivan's was my first wild cave, in 1971. We also visited Wayne's and Buckner's.

Glad you came to IN! Lots of mud but lots of fun lol
You mean "came back to IN". That's where I started caving back in 1989. Just as muddy as I remember.
That's the wells in Wayne's at the start of the video, Been there many times!
Great video, you captured the joy of amateur. Caving. What fun I had 30 years ago.
Glad to see you came to Indiana! Sullivan Cave is a personal favorite of mine.
Fantastic again. I should have sponsored this video. lol.
Another awesome video!!!!! Thanks for making these.
It was great caving with you while you were out here, maybe next time it won't be so rainy and we can get into Binkely.
I’ve heard Indiana has very muddy caves
I'll visit those caves someday!
Nicely edited and nice complimentary music. Your channel is defiantly due a video that will go viral its only time :) !
it's pretty interesting to see that americans cavers are dressed in total different way than europeans ones
Where in Indiana is this? SpringMill?
Near Bedford.
It's just outside of Springville, IN 2100 IN-54, Springville, IN 47462
Wayne's Cave in particular, is definitely NOT for the first time spelunker.
Definitely agree with you. There are a lot of very difficult and dangerous caves in Indiana.
