I just want to share that as time goes on you will find out what kind of soul family member you have been interacting with. So it doesn't pay to jump to conclusions soon after meeting someone new. The ego still needs to experience the relationship. It may happen that you meet someone with whom you get along very well and share a lot, and you think that they are your soul mate for a long-term friendship or partnership, but after a few months problems may start to appear (ego triggers) and you will find out that it was karmic + soulmate. That's the beauty of it. But as the ego degrades, we heal our wounds, we are more connected to our intuition and come into union with ourselves, we see these relationships differently and we can very quickly figure out why this strange person came into our lives or we are no more so attached to the persons ❤.

From what you're saying---if we are all one, and one all, it seems like we are all the same, and therefore there is no "twin flame" perse because we are all a part of the same whole. That's just my interpretation.
Have you ever heard of a twin flame being an extended family member? In my case my ex husband’s 2nd cousin’s husband. Related by marriage. I’ve searched for this example in others but have not found it. I just don’t understand and have been on this quest for a decade. Whatever the reason or meaning, it’s undeniable.
Well they're not your family member technically, so it doesn't matter whether anyone's heard of it or not. It may have been the only way for the two of you to meet.

After 2 years I finally had a message with his name and address in England. So a trip over the pond planned with many obstacles about meeting this family. Just the weirdest story I could never think up on my own. This all happening at age 58 when I normally would be thinking of retirement, grandchildren and drama free life. The absolute joy yet torture of the heart.
