- BMW now has a full-electric flagship model of fitting stature in its 'i' range of designs, this car, the iX. It's a large luxury SUV aimed directly at the Audi e-tron and the Mercedes EQC and it showcases everything the company knows about Zero Emissions motoring. As it turns out, that's quite a lot.

Not sure about the unnecessarily flowery language (reminds me of O-level English language for some reason) and hired actor vibe, but otherwise a good, detailed review. Thanks.
No frunk because, well, just like my X5, that's where the "front" engine is. Adding more cabin space, where I'd rather have it. Additional note - lumbar adjust and the massaging function is currently deleted for the front passenger seat across the entire iX model range (and several other BMW models), globally. Because, presumably, chips.

They’ve done a bunch of studies and found that no one really uses a frunk anyway
My gripe with this car is that the bench on the seats is too short. No support for you legs unless you’re 5’ 8”. BMW needs to take a lesson from Volvo. My C40;seats are far more comfortable than the IX seats! Volvo also has an extendable bench for longer legs!
That alone is a deal breaker for the IX.

What a complete waste of time!
The tec features You spend more than half this video covering are available on all the premium BMW models some as standard, some as options.
There’s nothing new re the majority of these. I’ve enjoyed most of them since my 2010 525d with the 3 litre motor (albeit de-tuned) that came on the 530 and 535.
They’re also available on most premium cars and many more mainstream cars these days.
BTW the M60 doesn’t have a 600 mile range, it’s lower than the M50 model.
I am the owner of one iX 50 and I would call it just breaking. The car keeps breaking and braking and breaking. the last one? couple of days ago the car started itself and crashed in font of the car in front.The sad part is that neither BMW nor the dealership have done anything to resolve the problem. I would say that if the car maker is interested in building a good service or reputation (but at this point I would just call it service) would offer to take the car back or give me a new one. NOTHING OF THAT KIND AS HAPPENED

@@kkgolf5371 i own BMW X5 40D G05, Tesla plaid and tested iX 60...honestly Chinese Li 9 car is MUCH MUUUUUCH better then iX!!!! iX looks inside like a cheap car including cheap components. Taking into account the sanctions against Russia i am going to sell bmw X5 and buy Li9. Li9 is a super SUV, amazing car! Chinese cars are chepper, faster and more luxury now...BMW, Mersedes, Audi has no even the components to make even a fast screen in car which works as a cheap,outdated tablet from 90s ...lol
