2025. Give Mclaren time to hone their skills with this beasty new car and drivers. Norris is learning a lot from Max and Max will be in WEC by 2025 (my own opinion with current events.) It's been too long since a Mclaren championship!
I'd love if you would have gone into the technical side a bit more, espcially with the 2023 car. For example how the new upgrades brought further drag reduction at a loss of overall downforce. The reason why Mclaren picked that downforce in Spa is because they don't have another downforce level that is competetive. The downforce level the ran at spa was the same at Austria, Silverstone and Hungary.
I would say if you consider 60 years of carmaking, some changes for a single car are not that important. It's like some changes that Ford made to the 1963 Ford Galaxie 500. No one really cares in the grand scheme of Ford as a company.
@@DanielCruz-sm6bw All Prost's teammates always had more DNF's. Keke Rosberg, Hill, Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna, Rene Arnoux, Niki Lauda. Couldn't it be that Prost knew how to drive to save the car and collect maximum points. PS: Prost beat them all. Five world champion teammates. That's a record that no other F1 driver has... not even close.
What a funny video. The video says "among the best drivers in F1 history" and Jenson Button pops up instead of say, Mika Hakkinen, who had been pretty much the "face" of McLaren after Senna and Prost quit. Hakkinen won two world championship titles for McLaren but his name is barely mentioned. Great "history video" indeed.
To say "certain German in a certain red car rocked up in the 2000s" is wrong. The work to dominate started in 1996, nothing came overnight as your statement would suggest. In 2010, RB wasn't "just too quick". That year was a 4-way title fight that RB won. Lewis crashed out of the Spanish GP in 2nd position due to a blown tire (3 laps from the end, might be wrong but about that number but still basically at the end of the race). If he had finished that race he would have won the 2010 title (this includes the fact that Lewis had 1 win and 3 retirements from Hungary to Singapore in a 4 race span). McLaren was much closer to winning than you make it out to be.
From what I understand Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna are Mclaren two greatest drivers in History; The others play it among themselves; For the worst driver in the history of McLaren I don't know who to name.
When will McLaren win their next championship? 🤔

@@PapayaFlo once Max goes to endurance racing with his new BMW car. Triple crown ftw! Go Piadtri!!
11:47 the last podium prior to the Sainz one came in Australia 2014 with Magnussen!
You missed Danny Ric's victory at Monza 2021, first McLaren victory in 9 years, I guess that was important for the video.
Good video but im a bit disapointed that you skipped Ricciardios win in Monza
Don't forget, Daniel secures McLaren's first win in a decade.

Very underrated account, only 4.46 k subs?!, deserves more!

Me watching this after Abu Dhabi 2024 gp winning the wcc
Whose after the Wcc
Fact: Prost scored more points than Senna during the 2 years they were teammates at McLaren. But Senna fanboys often forget this fact.
Senna had more dnf, it's simple to understand. Senna used arrived ahead of Prost when both finished the races

11:47 HEY! Magnussen finished 2nd in 2014 in Australia. That was there last podium.
Your Videos are so well documented better than many big channels out there.

Zak Brown - He has made the whole group of people into a TEAM!
they went from best to worst to best now
Look at them now❤
Lando really FUMBLED the title this season
11:45 just a little correction, but it's the first podium since Magnussen and Button's podiums in Australia, 2014.

The last podium prior to Sainz's p3 in Brazil was in Australia 2014 with Magnussen p2 and Button p3

Those rear wings around 2010 just look comically tiny.
Mclaren is back.Only 8 points behind Red Bull. F1 is finally exiting again.

Fun Fact. McLaren finished 3rd in 2020 with only 2 podiums.
