I am glad that you appreciate them as much as I do. They are special, part of Beatles photo history and pretty hard to get now. Thank you very much commenting on them, I do appreciate it. I hope you come back to be part of the channel again.
Great pictures Patricia and I saw the Beatles originally on Jack Parr's Tonight Show when I was eight years old and then again when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, the Beatles totally blew me away and changed my life and I grew up to be a singer songwriter strickly because of the Beatles, thank you John,Paul,George and Ringo, interestingly enough my old manager back in the seventies actually dated Linda Eastman in the sixties and he actually sent a tape of the band I was in to her and Paul, she replied back that Paul couldn't help us because at the time he was between labels,I doubt Paul or Linda ever heard us but at least she replied back, our manager Chuck was a good guy who actually played at the Monterey Pop Festival in his band the Paupers and was managed himself by Bob Dylan's manager Albert Gossman. Thank you very much for sharing your story. I love to hear them. You are maybe 3 years younger than I am and I understand all of the first generation feelings. I didn’t see Jack Paar. Are you still in the music business now? That is so interesting. I can’t thank you enough for sharing. ❤️
I kind if fell into this you tube thing but I have really enjoyed meeting like minded people so much. I hope you come back again. I am glad you liked what I did show.
Those photos are amazing. Thanks for sharing Dezo Hoffman’s history along with the photos. Such an interesting video. What a beautiful collection. Thanks, Patricia
I know a video showing photos doesn’t do them justice. But, I hoped that those who decided to watch learned something. Everybody’s collection is different and I know for sure mine is. I am glad you approve.
That is interesting to know. I looked at the 2 silver k flyers I have and you are right, it sold for 600 dollars. How many are in your edition? They are show pieces for sure and worth every penny. Thank you for telling me about your photo. Thank you for being part of the channel too b

Hello Patricia, I'm a new member of your Beatles club, just wanted to say I enjoy your history with the Beatles & your photos you show. I recognized a few & a couple I have not seen before. Nice to see they are framed, & I like Dezo's shots of the boys. I've been a life- long fan, & can't get enough of them! Lol! Oh, btw, that pic of John checking himself out in the mirror, I think that guy next to him is Neil Aspinall, their back-then road manager, in his younger years. It kind of looks like him.
Yes, it kind of does look like him. It probably should be because not just anybody was with them before a show I agree, some of those shots are not known. At least not in the books that I have. I do have to get that Lennon book. Can you imagine how many of those photos we will never see? I am glad that you came here and did subscribe. I hope you continue to enjoy what I try to do. Would love to know your name, where you are from and how you found the Beatles. Thank you!
@@Imaginenumber9 Hi Patricia, after I finished posting last night, I found a few more of your previous shows to watch because I had to see what else you purchased! Lol! I liked your take on P. Shotton & his book. I have Cynthia Lennon's book, "A Twist Of Lennon" which I haven't read yet, but I will soon. Got it on E-Bay for $16.00. Probably could have gotten it cheaper, but I couldn't wait! I also bought Paul's "Eyes of the Storm" book for $39.00. My local bookstore was selling it for $75.00, so not bad there. That CD of the Quarrymen you showed recently caught my eye. I'll have to look into finding that one, hopefully. Btw, I'm Jan from Massachusetts & I found the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show, as many first gen fans did. I had heard of them before the show & couldn't wait to see them! And they didn't disappoint, been a fan ever since!

I am glad that you found my Dezo photo collection interesting. It is funny how we have seen some of these photos over and over without thinking too much where they originally came from.and the person who took hem. I appreciate all of those photographers so much because they gave us our view of the Beatles. I hope you find the channel good enough to come back.
Hi Patricia, you have a wonderful collection of all things Beatles, including the photos you shared in this video. The Beatles from their very beginning had some great photographers capturing their image. Starting with Astrid Kircherr. Surely they are among the most photographed humans in history. The most notable photo I have is an image of John and Yoko shot in November 1980 in NYC by Jack Mitchell. Jack signed it for me and it’s now a family heirloom. It’s a good photo to have if you only have one. By the way, I became a Beatles fan in 1964, got drafted into the Army in 1966 and took their music to Vietnam with me. I met my future wife in Vietnam and played the White Album for her. Pretty sure it was the first Beatles music she heard - but not the last. We now live in retirement in Florida. Keep up the good work with your videos. You have lots of knowledge and memorabilia to share.
Thank you for telling me about yourself. Vietnam was a terrible time. I salute you for being there. You are right, they have been photographed more than anyone in history. I am a big Astrid Kircherr fan too. I have a few things of hers that are among my most cherished Beatles art. Maybe that will be for a future video. Thank you for sharing and being part of our space. It is people like you that make this whole thing work. I would like to hear how you came to own your signed photograph. That is very cool to know what other people collect and cherish.
@@Imaginenumber9 Jack Mitchell was a good friend of mine. I met him in the late 1980s while working as editor of a small daily newspaper in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. A magazine published in Amsterdam called *FURORE* is superb at researching & displaying Beatles photographs & their history. Might be hard to find at a good price in USA though. It now only comes out once or twice a year but was founded in the 1970s & the layout is the best magazine layout I've ever seen. Another fine issue in English is *Issue #28, April 2024* , identifying the street, then & now, where Ringo tripped over George in HARD DAY's NIGHT, & interviews 1963 Beatles reporter Maureen O'Grady.
