You took the wrong way brother😄 the way which allows you to go inside the island through a foot bridge is the other way around. It's called 2nd largest river island cos the total area of the island is around 16sq.km approx.

@@DCTravelerExperience yes I think😅 actually the way which you guys took it lead to one village called "Diangchiiang" something like that I think the spelling😅 which mean the "Bonetree"😄😅 which is a legendary story about this and the solitary tree really exist till date

My suggestion:- Next time when you plan to visit any place you better check first from youtube so that you won't miss the beauty of the place like you did in Nongkhnum,, Now that you're a semi-local 😁 you can visit anytime, anyday, any hour, any minute, any moment hundred times the places you love to visit 😁 without spending too much money and energy 😁 so don't regret 😁 visit again again and again

You miss the entrance of the nongkhnum island you should seek help from the local to enjoy the surreal beauty of this place, you also miss the two waterfslls, the beach and the bridge.ok try next time during October.

Don't depend too much on Google map ...you have miss the real Island...the place you have been there is not your destination. You missed the beach you missed the island and you miss the waterfall also that's why I said don't depend too much on Google map.

Oh no….you missed the actual place, the island the beautiful bridge and the waterfall too. I wish u could have asked those fishermen the way that leads to the Island. That way only fishermen go. It’s a long way and so much effort you should at least reach the exact place 😊

Markham valley in west khasi hills is similar to dzukuo valley

Markham now falls under Eastern West Khasi Hills . You can also visit Dom Marwein which is only about 4 Kilometers from Nongshillong a junction front Shillong-Nongstoin High Way or 27 kms from Mairang town. This place has tremendous beauty of its own that gives breathtaking views whenever I visit it.
