Hey hey thank you for that informative video. I had a question that little L shape thing on the bottom right of the vortec before taking it off what is it, that line snapped and trying to look for a replacement and can’t find the right piece. Do you know what it’s called ?
The torque for plugs is 13ftlbs it says right there on valve cover next to where the wire harness is. Might have to wipe some dirt off coz its on black surface.
is there anything noticable to the coul packs if they are bad? and if my spark plugs are oily does that mean my rings are bad? or what else could be my problem? lol like pt get 3
Just looked at one that I'm purchasing. Got a little bit of a loss of power. Got a misfire code seems like it's a constant. I'm going to go ahead and buy it I'm going to change the spark plugs and air filter, hopefully that restores the obvious loss of power. You think there's anything else I might be missing before I go changing the coil packs?

Are you supposed to change the upper intake gaskets when doing a tune up?
So what if on break and is let’s say #4 what the number order ?
What number are those plugs?
Can changing the spark plugs cause the fuel pump to burn out
no it cannot of my knowledge
No don't be silly
Does it matter which way the coils go back in?
Not technically but it's frowned upon for the sake of future diagnosing
You should have shown how to remove the plug things because if you don't know how to remove them you break them!

Do I have to change the coil pack when I do spark plugs?
Not if you're just doing plugs for routine maintenance
Know of course not unless it's bad !
Thanks man gonna do the same with My bravada
Thank you very much
You are welcome
So the gap should be at 43?
Whatever it says on the sticker under the hood before trusting the auto parts store

They're usually set to the most common gap, but they should always be checked to your spec

These commonly are known to have crank/cam sensor problems and VVT solenoid problems
