I have the exact opposite problem, I'm playing soldier and I have 3 f2p medics on the team. We have no power class and the medics cant even uber someone

Learning how to share your uber with your team during a push is actually one of the smartest skills a medic can acquire. I mean, obviously don't split your uber between your pushing heavy and a sniper who is standing back. Share it with the classes that are pushing with you as it will nullify all of the enemy's attempts to stop you from pushing as there will simply be too many of you who are invincible to deal with and even when the uber runs out, everyone still has full hp and the enemy your pushing is at the very least mostly weakened to half hp. I can attest to have had more success as a medic when I shared my uber with the team mates pushing with me and my primary heal target than when they all died and it was me and my heal target left alone to deal with the enemy's defense and possibly until the uber ran out.
I have to disagree with some points made here 1. Double healing is not always bad. Like you said, TF2 is a situational game and when a patient is under a heavy fire, it's sometimes good to help a fellow medic with healing so everyone can stay alive. 2. I really didn't like when you said splitting ubers is a bad thing. Flashing is a common technique used my experienced medics, proven to be effective in many cases. Giving away two seconds of ubercharge for potentially doubled firepower is a good tradeoff for me. You even showed this as a good play at around 7:20. 3. You missed a very common mistake that's like a plague amongst medics - unnecessary peeking. When the medic is healing a pushing patient, they should ALWAYS stand back while they charge an uber. A Medic should always keep himself safe and not engage in dangerous activities. Peeking around a corner is literally asking to be picked by stray fire or a sniper. I've seen many medic die in a stupid way just because they were curious to see what is happening at the battlefield.
I'd have to agree with you on that one, but on the 3rd point, you should learn to see trough your teammates. When they are peaking a corner, look up for what is happening to them. Are they getting spammed by rockets? Might be soldiers there. Are they instantly dying? Might be snipers there, and so on. Don't risk yourself, as you're the most important player on the team. You are strong with a team, but weak without one.
I understand what you're saying, but I'll still don't get it how peeking would help the cause. After all, it's up to the patient to decide to back away or not. The only situation I consider recognizing the threat useful is when using the Vaccinator, and let's be honest, it's not a good choice on maps where chokepoints are common.
On third point- it is not always like that , if you have vaccinator you simple must look to see which damage effect to choose. Yeah that is good tactic with stock,q-f and kritz but with vacc it can be hard...
Yes. I'm talking out from personal experience, and I have almost 0 experience with the vaccinator and quick-fix, but if you stick to medigun or kritzkrieg, this is a good strategy to follow.
If you are doing this though, I would definitely peak out using bullet resistance first and then change accordingly after you are around the corner because it only take 1 headshot for you to be dead.
Few more tips for medics: - when there is no enemies around, switch weapons to disable your uber early so you can continue to capture the point/cart - don't be afraid to use the uber just on yourself only to block enemies from capping - when you are alone and you are being attacked you can switch to melee, its sometimes easier/faster to kill enemies with it than with needle gun - do not heal friendly spies when enemies can see you, unless they have very low hp - you can use medigun to shorten the effect of jarate/burn
the first mistake isn't a mistake. if there is no injured teammates then he should keep healing an full health ally in order to both insure he will survive a bit more and to gain youre ubercharge faster than just move around and wait for youre team to get hurt.
the reason people are battle medics is because whenever they heal someone, that someone doesn't say thank you, they don't even notice the medica at all. All they want are heals. So the medic feels left out and useless, and wants to get revenge by not healing them. or they just wanna make their teammates salty
I end up going semi-battle med, when I feel my team, despite having a decent composition isn't being aggressive enough, or the team quite simply are not playing as skillfully as I would prefer, or simply aren't interested in playing the objective at all. Nothing rustles my jimmies, like seeing the pyro on the team practically behind the snipers all match long popping off flare shots that miss 19/20 times, a heavy shooting halfway across the map for his 10 damage on the speck in the distance, some soldier behind them all camping a corner, and the engy's busy sentry nesting at the spawn door. And the only member that does seem to be pushing the front, is some single gibus spy, face stabbing the entire enemy team and dying over & over. Give me a w-m1 pyro and a rage heavy, any day over that.
Yea, and almost fucked up the team. The solly didnt need a heal, he wasn't posing any threat to anyone, and a sentry could have been around the corner. A heavy literally jumped out right he lost uber time. It's a great example to his rule.
As a medic main, I have to disagree with a couple of points: 1. Uber-sharing. It's not bad. It's trading uber time for uber efficiency. You either charge one person and push, while the rest of the teammates have a chance of dying or you charge multiple teammates, so the enemies won't have as many potential targets and will be forced to flee. 2. "Jealous of Dispensers" part. I'd probably just arrow the person who is near it. That's it. But the "Sentry Repellents" part was pretty new to me, won't lie. That is something I will try to take in consideration.

Of course not all of these I'll follow, but I already do a lot of them! However, the one where you said go forth when you uber to distract the sentry I had no idea! This will help so much xD Thank you!
For anyone returning to this video, keep this in the back of your sandvich-filled head somewhere. While there are call-outs for Spies and sentries, there are no call-outs for anything else except "Incoming!". What I like to do is bring attention to the kill feed by saying "Sentry Ahead!" if either a teammate just recieved a headshot from an enemy Sniper or if I know that the same class is looking down a common travel lane, warning my team about him ahead of time. You don't have to be a Medic to use this tactic, which is why it seems effective to me. Since the call-out should alert your team of a farway presence faster, they'll be more likely to take caution when rounding corners or entering open areas.
As a Medic main, I really appreciate this. Although I've been doing some of these already before seeing this video, I did manage to learn a few more tips from it. Really good video and I hope it encourages more people to play Medic. I myself really need the assist lol
Uber is not for one person to be blue for 9 seconds. It's so your team can make big plays without dying. So use it to save people during the push. Especially if you have a class that may need to reload (any soldier, and often demo is a better uber target than a heavy) so that, for example, while the soldier loads 2 rockets preparing for a jump you just got the scout over their heavy and onto the medic.
Without noticing I was doing the blocking for teammates already. But thanks for telling me that sharing Iberia uses it quicker. Very useful. I'm also a Medic main so I loved this vid
sure changing loadouts for the right situation works but some mediguns take longer to charge plus not all teammates respond to your pleas about spy being behind you or any other enemy behind you that you have to go infront of your patient to know that something is wrong behind him and some cases they ignore it while they just keep on shooting on the front
IKR we were in downtime and i played soldier so no one was firing at us. We had a medic who was standing there, healing the heavy WHO WAS EATING A SANDWICH. While I was off to the side, screaming medic for 10 seconds straight. Then, i got killed by a random pipe by a demo who i could've one shot. Medic also dies to the demo.
As a medic main, I already knew all of this. But unless you just started maining medic, you should know these procedures already. Being a support main is tough :(
While an obvious tip, remember that an uber will prevent you from capturing the objective. I've had a situation where I ubered a soldier on a cart half a second away from being captured, so ubering him only extended the game and gave the enemy team a chance to push us away from the cart. Of course, it was a pub, and we had 4 minutes to capture it should we have failed, but it's helpful to keep in mind that if the cart is one tap away from the final point, an uber could give the enemy a chance to push you away from the cart when you could've already captured it.
(this is just my opinion so don't take my word for it; hear some other people out too) depends a bit on what class you are good at and how bad the situation is. If your team is holding pretty good (so I'm talking about defensive games) you'll have time to set up sentries; and your team can use the dispenser to heal. If however your team is getting pushed back rapidly there will be no time to set up before your stuff get's destroyed; so an engie would be kinda useless however a medic doesn't need to wait for a building to be completed to heal; he can heal instantly when he spawns. This can slow down the advance of the enemy enough for someone else to go engie.
in this situation is better to pick medic because you have good classes to uber (soldier, demoman and heavy), and heavy-medic combo can save control point much better than a sentry

Maybe for the eventual Demoman video, you could bring up not knowing about grenade/cannon jumping? Lots of Demoman seem to take the shield, meaning no sticky launcher, seemingly meaning no vertical mobility. Grenade jumps can at least get you to higher places while cannon jumping, while much harder, can clear distances equal to or greater than with stickies
He's a good medic teacher. He knows the meta very well and is good at explaining. He isn't the best at acting on his knowledge though. I would call him a great medic, but not an amazing one.
Medic. With Heavy, Engi, Pybro and sometimes Soldier as secondary choices. At my age I don't have the reflexes for Scout anymore. I can predict and lead shots with projectiles better than deal with hitscan weapons, because my brain subconsciously thinks that bullets should take time to travel.
Seeing this is pretty impressive though it's something basic medics learn. I feel more competent medics can do a lot of these things but still be as effective as if they weren't. Avoiding mediocre spy mains who only know how to do trickstabs makes them highly predictable, they're already playing a weak class using methods that're easily avoided.
You forgot an important one, and even did it yourself no less. *_Don't use the crossbow when you're within medi gun range._* You WILL miss often enough that it's worse than just healing normally. It even happens in this tutorial video. The crossbow is used for long range healing (attempts), and most efficiently as you're running towards a teammate to heal them. As there's nothing else you could do to help them at that time, it's great! Missing a shot is no big deal (on your part), but it could save their life. However, thinking that the crossbow will heal faster than the medi gun is just incorrect. No type of medic makes me more upset than one who misses a crossbow shot when he could've just healed me and I die for it. Battle medics I ignore. Pocket medics I ignore. Stupid medics I try and protect/keep out of danger. But if you just miss a bolt and I die because you thought it was "faster", I pretty much just hate you. Don't be that guy. Only use the crossbow when you are _not_ within medi gun range. Very, VERY infrequently I will switch to crossbow to heal a Heavy at low HP, or other slow/immobile classes. It _can_ be faster than the medi gun. But the risk is nearly never worth it. And if you play like the medic in this video, you'll be missing out on a lot of healing in the end.
If you pull out your crossbow, shoot at close range, then quickly switch to your medigun you can heal MUCH faster when crit heals aren't in play. Array Seven talked about it in his advanced medic tips I believe. The people you should talk about are people who do it who aren't as good at the crossbow as Array or comp medics.
You are about half right, while missing with your crossbow can be fatal, it can help if you land the shot, but never do it when your heal target is jumping around or moving unpredictably (like a soldier or demo that can explosive jump or a scout who decides to triple jump away), hence, while it can be faster than normal healing, only heal when you know that you have a 90% chance to hit (as we know, 100% isn't gonna happen). Generally, I only use the crossbow at close range when the person is moving straight towards a health pack (use simple math for travel distance), a spun up heavy (he's a easy target from everything, including you) or my aim is very good (I have days where I'm a god and others where i'm complete shit(still don't do above things)). Also, never use it when they are close to full HP, as it can't overheal patients, which is wasted time (close ranged shots only heal 75.) One last thing, currently there's a problem with the crossbow's projectile at the moment. The arrow's hitbox doesn't actually spawn for 0.25 seconds when shot, as the game now has to include crit heals (still caps at 150hp) until then, it's hitbox doesn't spawn, meaning if you're right next to someone, it can spawn on the other side of them and still travel. It will still hit walls when this happens, as when it spawns, it detects if it has gone through terrain, it will still have it hit that wall (meaning it won't go though thin walls, sadly).

About the mistake number 11, yeah, Medic is my second favorite class, I don't mind being a Medic... as long the team know how to play because, how can I be a medic with 3 spies and 3 snipers on my team? If the team has a good Heavy, Demo, Soldier and Pyro to lead the team to the victory, I won't regret being the medic
Kinda basic, but good for pub medics. Few things to mention either about the video or extra tips.(if Im wrong on some of these, let me know. I'm working of my memory and comp experience here) 1. When talking about primary usage, you should arrow targets even if they are close to you, when they are under half hp and they just took the damage(and are standing still). Medigun is slower if they don't have crit heals. 2. Giving someone an uber flash to save them is often worth it, unless they dont need it, or cant do anything/survive even when they get it. This is situational though. 3. Possibly the strongest pushing uber is a good demo+scout when they don't have a counter uber. Heavy is good for keeping you safe, but isn't always the best uber target cause his movement is extremely limited while firing. 4. Uber builds in 40seconds if built correctly(avoid healing fully overhealed people since uber building slows down if your heal target has over 142.5% hp. fe. soldiers limit is 285 hp). If you use arrows you can get it even faster. 5. When choosing who to heal, prioritize the player who might leave you soon(unless your pocket is in danger). This'll maximise the hp of your team. 6. It's your job to use your teammates in a way you stay safe, do not expect them to protect you from everything. fe. in a bad situation leave and use your pocket as a distraction. Or if a flanker gets to you, dodge around and try to bait the flanker into your pockets view. You can also position near sentries. Avoid following your pocket blindly(but try not to leave him randomly either). 7. Consider who needs an overheal and why. fe against a good sniper, it might be good to have your sniper over 150 hp to survive one shot and have a better change to counter snipe. A soldier/demo can use an overheal on 5cp when rolling out. Also scouts main weakness is his hp and a good scout with 185 hp can destroy their flank(+getting a scout to 185 is fast compared to getting a heavy to 450). I think this is enough for this purpose.

I actualy hate people that says you're a bad medic because you're healing the one that is being shot at and not the one that is under cover... *your goal is to heal every one*... My goal is to keep every one alive... big difference here.
Another thing: calling for an uber ready before it actually is. This scares your team when they call for an uber, but you can't deliver because it isn't actually ready.

To be fair, sometimes a dual uber from a single medic is necessary. Ubering a heavy AND a demo for 6 seconds has twice the pushing power a single would have been in certain situations. Took a point back from nearly being capped with only the aforementioned 3 man squad against a heavy, soldier, demo, and scout who were determined to keep it
I agree with all those tips because im a good medic cause i play him a lot cause hes my favourite class. but 1 thing i always do is watch out for spies. thats a tip you didnt mention i always do that and the player that im healing never gets backstabbed cause, the spy never suspects the medic to turn around and see him but i do and they decloak in front of my eyes and i kill them with the ubersaw. another tip you didnt mention is try to heal as many players as possible in a short period of time thats what i do and in a few seconds i have fully overhealed half of my team. another tup you didnt mention is when youre as a medic and you have the uber ready and like a soldier is bouncing u away from ur uber target dont fear to pop the uber to save urself cause know its not worthless cause with the uber you are going to be able to survive and run to your uber traget if youre lucky and manage to go at your uber target you can uber him for a few seconds even if you dont doesnt rlly matter cause you can overheal him cause if you dont pop the uber and die you cannot heal him and he will die a few seconds after you. read this comment for some extra help if it helps you please remember to leave a like. :)
About number 7, it also applies to the classes that are supposed to defend you. I have been left to die when a nearby teammate cared more about a cloaked spy than an enemy power class too many times by now.
6:09 i started playing tf2 lets say 4 days ago. But the only problem rn is this: F2P and those with no money and features on Steam cant communicate. I cant communicate as a f2p and i cant add friends on Steam since i didnt purchase anything at all. So how am i supposed to communicate with someone regarding of a spy??
I don't see the trickstab as a good arguement against chasing spies, since going up stairs or around a corner is always a clear sign of a trickstab attempt, but the fact that if the spy runs away, the long range weapons of the medic are not as effective as the spy's revolvers. Not to mention, healing the teammates is a higher priority.

Engie has a shotgun. Don't be afraid to uber the Engie. Especially if it's a Widowmaker Engie, or as some call it, sv_infiniteammo

the reason people are battle medics is because whenever they heal someone, that someone doesn't say thank you, they don't even notice the medica at all. All they want are heals. So the medic feels left out and useless, and wants to get revenge by not healing them.

I end up going semi-battle med, when I feel my team, despite having a decent composition isn't being aggressive enough, or the team quite simply are not playing as skillfully as I would prefer, or simply aren't interested in playing the objective at all.
Nothing rustles my jimmies, like seeing the pyro on the team practically behind the snipers all match long popping off flare shots that miss 19/20 times, a heavy shooting halfway across the map for his 10 damage on the speck in the distance, some soldier behind them all camping a corner, and the engy's busy sentry nesting at the spawn door.
And the only member that does seem to be pushing the front, is some single gibus spy, face stabbing the entire enemy team and dying over & over. Give me a w-m1 pyro and a rage heavy, any day over that.

Yea, and almost fucked up the team. The solly didnt need a heal, he wasn't posing any threat to anyone, and a sentry could have been around the corner. A heavy literally jumped out right he lost uber time. It's a great example to his rule.
As a medic main, I have to disagree with a couple of points:
1. Uber-sharing. It's not bad. It's trading uber time for uber efficiency. You either charge one person and push, while the rest of the teammates have a chance of dying or you charge multiple teammates, so the enemies won't have as many potential targets and will be forced to flee.
2. "Jealous of Dispensers" part. I'd probably just arrow the person who is near it. That's it.
But the "Sentry Repellents" part was pretty new to me, won't lie. That is something I will try to take in consideration.

Of course not all of these I'll follow, but I already do a lot of them! However, the one where you said go forth when you uber to distract the sentry I had no idea! This will help so much xD Thank you!
For anyone returning to this video, keep this in the back of your sandvich-filled head somewhere. While there are call-outs for Spies and sentries, there are no call-outs for anything else except "Incoming!". What I like to do is bring attention to the kill feed by saying "Sentry Ahead!" if either a teammate just recieved a headshot from an enemy Sniper or if I know that the same class is looking down a common travel lane, warning my team about him ahead of time. You don't have to be a Medic to use this tactic, which is why it seems effective to me. Since the call-out should alert your team of a farway presence faster, they'll be more likely to take caution when rounding corners or entering open areas.
When I play medic :
Me : *I AM FULLY CHARGED !*
Teamates : *Don't even dare to try to move forward*.

As a Medic main, I really appreciate this. Although I've been doing some of these already before seeing this video, I did manage to learn a few more tips from it. Really good video and I hope it encourages more people to play Medic. I myself really need the assist lol
Uber is not for one person to be blue for 9 seconds. It's so your team can make big plays without dying. So use it to save people during the push. Especially if you have a class that may need to reload (any soldier, and often demo is a better uber target than a heavy) so that, for example, while the soldier loads 2 rockets preparing for a jump you just got the scout over their heavy and onto the medic.
uber is also better for pushing enemy teams
As every good team has engi in defense you should uber only 1 so he can tank and 9 second are good to destroy a sentry nest

sure changing loadouts for the right situation works but some mediguns take longer to charge plus not all teammates respond to your pleas about spy being behind you or any other enemy behind you that you have to go infront of your patient to know that something is wrong behind him and some cases they ignore it while they just keep on shooting on the front
Some of the medics on TF2 always ignore me everytime I call for them.

IKR we were in downtime and i played soldier so no one was firing at us. We had a medic who was standing there, healing the heavy WHO WAS EATING A SANDWICH. While I was off to the side, screaming medic for 10 seconds straight. Then, i got killed by a random pipe by a demo who i could've one shot. Medic also dies to the demo.

As a medic main, I already knew all of this. But unless you just started maining medic, you should know these procedures already.
Being a support main is tough :(
While an obvious tip, remember that an uber will prevent you from capturing the objective. I've had a situation where I ubered a soldier on a cart half a second away from being captured, so ubering him only extended the game and gave the enemy team a chance to push us away from the cart.
Of course, it was a pub, and we had 4 minutes to capture it should we have failed, but it's helpful to keep in mind that if the cart is one tap away from the final point, an uber could give the enemy a chance to push you away from the cart when you could've already captured it.
it actually happened on a server I was on, some medic ubered and time ran out lol

(this is just my opinion so don't take my word for it; hear some other people out too)
depends a bit on what class you are good at and how bad the situation is. If your team is holding pretty good (so I'm talking about defensive games) you'll have time to set up sentries; and your team can use the dispenser to heal. If however your team is getting pushed back rapidly there will be no time to set up before your stuff get's destroyed; so an engie would be kinda useless however a medic doesn't need to wait for a building to be completed to heal; he can heal instantly when he spawns. This can slow down the advance of the enemy enough for someone else to go engie.
in this situation is better to pick medic because you have good classes to uber (soldier, demoman and heavy), and heavy-medic combo can save control point much better than a sentry

I once was on turbine playing medic, and I got an Uber then asked in team chat “who wants Uber?” the engineer said first, I went to them and they had Widowmaker, I was just thinking “lets try it, Uber takes like 40 seconds to build anyway”, I ubered them and my points about doubled from assists, it was insane, I was wondering if they were fucking hacking, enemies just kind of died, *they weren’t even using the gunslinger*

And about spy - players don't kill spy after you tell them that. So the best solution is shoot spy with syrengegun.
Maybe for the eventual Demoman video, you could bring up not knowing about grenade/cannon jumping? Lots of Demoman seem to take the shield, meaning no sticky launcher, seemingly meaning no vertical mobility. Grenade jumps can at least get you to higher places while cannon jumping, while much harder, can clear distances equal to or greater than with stickies

Medic. With Heavy, Engi, Pybro and sometimes Soldier as secondary choices. At my age I don't have the reflexes for Scout anymore. I can predict and lead shots with projectiles better than deal with hitscan weapons, because my brain subconsciously thinks that bullets should take time to travel.

Seeing this is pretty impressive though it's something basic medics learn.
I feel more competent medics can do a lot of these things but still be as effective as if they weren't.
Avoiding mediocre spy mains who only know how to do trickstabs makes them highly predictable, they're already playing a weak class using methods that're easily avoided.
You forgot an important one, and even did it yourself no less. *_Don't use the crossbow when you're within medi gun range._* You WILL miss often enough that it's worse than just healing normally. It even happens in this tutorial video. The crossbow is used for long range healing (attempts), and most efficiently as you're running towards a teammate to heal them. As there's nothing else you could do to help them at that time, it's great! Missing a shot is no big deal (on your part), but it could save their life.
However, thinking that the crossbow will heal faster than the medi gun is just incorrect. No type of medic makes me more upset than one who misses a crossbow shot when he could've just healed me and I die for it. Battle medics I ignore. Pocket medics I ignore. Stupid medics I try and protect/keep out of danger. But if you just miss a bolt and I die because you thought it was "faster", I pretty much just hate you. Don't be that guy. Only use the crossbow when you are _not_ within medi gun range.
Very, VERY infrequently I will switch to crossbow to heal a Heavy at low HP, or other slow/immobile classes. It _can_ be faster than the medi gun. But the risk is nearly never worth it. And if you play like the medic in this video, you'll be missing out on a lot of healing in the end.
If you pull out your crossbow, shoot at close range, then quickly switch to your medigun you can heal MUCH faster when crit heals aren't in play. Array Seven talked about it in his advanced medic tips I believe. The people you should talk about are people who do it who aren't as good at the crossbow as Array or comp medics.

You are about half right, while missing with your crossbow can be fatal, it can help if you land the shot, but never do it when your heal target is jumping around or moving unpredictably (like a soldier or demo that can explosive jump or a scout who decides to triple jump away), hence, while it can be faster than normal healing, only heal when you know that you have a 90% chance to hit (as we know, 100% isn't gonna happen).
Generally, I only use the crossbow at close range when the person is moving straight towards a health pack (use simple math for travel distance), a spun up heavy (he's a easy target from everything, including you) or my aim is very good (I have days where I'm a god and others where i'm complete shit(still don't do above things)). Also, never use it when they are close to full HP, as it can't overheal patients, which is wasted time (close ranged shots only heal 75.)
One last thing, currently there's a problem with the crossbow's projectile at the moment. The arrow's hitbox doesn't actually spawn for 0.25 seconds when shot, as the game now has to include crit heals (still caps at 150hp) until then, it's hitbox doesn't spawn, meaning if you're right next to someone, it can spawn on the other side of them and still travel. It will still hit walls when this happens, as when it spawns, it detects if it has gone through terrain, it will still have it hit that wall (meaning it won't go though thin walls, sadly).

About the mistake number 11, yeah, Medic is my second favorite class, I don't mind being a Medic... as long the team know how to play because, how can I be a medic with 3 spies and 3 snipers on my team? If the team has a good Heavy, Demo, Soldier and Pyro to lead the team to the victory, I won't regret being the medic

Kinda basic, but good for pub medics.
Few things to mention either about the video or extra tips.(if Im wrong on some of these, let me know. I'm working of my memory and comp experience here)
1. When talking about primary usage, you should arrow targets even if they are close to you, when they are under half hp and they just took the damage(and are standing still). Medigun is slower if they don't have crit heals.
2. Giving someone an uber flash to save them is often worth it, unless they dont need it, or cant do anything/survive even when they get it. This is situational though.
3. Possibly the strongest pushing uber is a good demo+scout when they don't have a counter uber. Heavy is good for keeping you safe, but isn't always the best uber target cause his movement is extremely limited while firing.
4. Uber builds in 40seconds if built correctly(avoid healing fully overhealed people since uber building slows down if your heal target has over 142.5% hp. fe. soldiers limit is 285 hp). If you use arrows you can get it even faster.
5. When choosing who to heal, prioritize the player who might leave you soon(unless your pocket is in danger). This'll maximise the hp of your team.
6. It's your job to use your teammates in a way you stay safe, do not expect them to protect you from everything. fe. in a bad situation leave and use your pocket as a distraction. Or if a flanker gets to you, dodge around and try to bait the flanker into your pockets view. You can also position near sentries. Avoid following your pocket blindly(but try not to leave him randomly either).
7. Consider who needs an overheal and why. fe against a good sniper, it might be good to have your sniper over 150 hp to survive one shot and have a better change to counter snipe. A soldier/demo can use an overheal on 5cp when rolling out. Also scouts main weakness is his hp and a good scout with 185 hp can destroy their flank(+getting a scout to 185 is fast compared to getting a heavy to 450).
I think this is enough for this purpose.

Another thing: calling for an uber ready before it actually is. This scares your team when they call for an uber, but you can't deliver because it isn't actually ready.

To be fair, sometimes a dual uber from a single medic is necessary. Ubering a heavy AND a demo for 6 seconds has twice the pushing power a single would have been in certain situations. Took a point back from nearly being capped with only the aforementioned 3 man squad against a heavy, soldier, demo, and scout who were determined to keep it

I agree with all those tips because im a good medic cause i play him a lot cause hes my favourite class. but 1 thing i always do is watch out for spies. thats a tip you didnt mention i always do that and the player that im healing never gets backstabbed cause, the spy never suspects the medic to turn around and see him but i do and they decloak in front of my eyes and i kill them with the ubersaw. another tip you didnt mention is try to heal as many players as possible in a short period of time thats what i do and in a few seconds i have fully overhealed half of my team. another tup you didnt mention is when youre as a medic and you have the uber ready and like a soldier is bouncing u away from ur uber target dont fear to pop the uber to save urself cause know its not worthless cause with the uber you are going to be able to survive and run to your uber traget if youre lucky and manage to go at your uber target you can uber him for a few seconds even if you dont doesnt rlly matter cause you can overheal him cause if you dont pop the uber and die you cannot heal him and he will die a few seconds after you. read this comment for some extra help if it helps you please remember to leave a like. :)

About number 7, it also applies to the classes that are supposed to defend you. I have been left to die when a nearby teammate cared more about a cloaked spy than an enemy power class too many times by now.

I don't see the trickstab as a good arguement against chasing spies, since going up stairs or around a corner is always a clear sign of a trickstab attempt, but the fact that if the spy runs away, the long range weapons of the medic are not as effective as the spy's revolvers. Not to mention, healing the teammates is a higher priority.
