Diana has a unique voice - "contralto", the lowest female voice (F3-F5). It is very rare for girls. Diana's working range of voice is two tones lower and four tones higher than that of the contralto (D3-D6), the tenor is mezzo-soprano. Diana's rich set of techniques, emotional presentation, velvety timbre and attractive appearance make her stand out among the vocalists on the stage.
Diana continues her career as a pop singer, gives concerts in Russian cities, studies at the State Institute of Theater Arts. I am writing to you in English, as you have put subtitles in this language I assume that you understand it. And I don't know if one of you speaks French.
First, I congratulate you for doing your research before making your videos.
I give you below a compilation of information, among them, therefore, there is some that you already know.
I particularly recommend that you go to Diana's official TH-cam channels, a lot of the videos are subtitled in less than 5 languages, but unfortunately we don't have an Italian translator yet ... You will be able to use them fot yor videos without having any problems of copyright.
Your astonishment is not exceptional! Diana uses many vocal techniques rarely used in pop music (like overtones, yodel, and some from classical singing....). The one that seems to amaze people the most is polyphonic voice. The root notes are enriched with powerful harmonics which can give the impression that there are several overlapping voices or an artificial effect which gives this result.
This technique is used in Slavic folk music, like Bulgarian vocal groups or artists like Pelageya, the Russian folk diva. I cannot tell you exactly how these artists achieve this result, I was just told that it is linked to the simultaneous use of the different resonators of the human body and that such a mastery of the voice and of the breath with such a fluidity requires years of work, Diana has been singing on stage and has been taking singing and performing arts lessons since the age of 6!
This broadcast is "You're Great!" ("You are Super"), a song contest reserved for children who have had a difficult start in life. This is the case of Diana who was mistreated and ended up in an orphanage at 3 years old.
In this shows Diana is directing, arranging and preparing her performances herself. She's a real creator.
In addition, her costumes are designed and sewn by her mother and grandmother since she was 5.

Diana was 15 years old here. Diana just released an original song called "Happiness" on March 26th if you want to hear something recent and original. It's in Russian but it's on her official TH-cam site with good working subtitles. Diana does not block aggressively like the Russian TV station she performed on in this show. She sings a French song called Derniere Danse & has around a quarter of a billion views combined (in multiple performances)...Human, Rechenka, Blizzard and many others are very impressive as well. Her dark, rich powerful lower register is a one of a kind sound. She's very unique. She's been my favorite singer the last couple of years.

Diana ha una voce unica ed un potenziale artistico e di interpretazione strabiliante.
Di suo c'è ancora poco, potrete trovare per lo più cover, ma credetemi, da restare a bocca aperta! Cercate Rechenka e Human, ma il suo cavallo di battaglia è la canzone Francese che poi è quella che i giudici gli chiesero come secondo pezzo "Derniere dance". La prima che presentò fu un allegrissimo pezzo cantato in modalità Yodl (inventato in Germania se non erro), che anche se divertì tantissimo e piacque a tutti, rivelando delle capacità canore in quello stile incredibile, in quel contesto e con una agguerrita concorrenza non fu sufficiente per passare il turno, mentre l'altro pezzo stregò i giudici.
C'è un'altro pezzo sempre in Francese meraviglioso in cui viene accompagnata al piano dal maestro Igor Krutoy (il giudice pelato che tra l'altro accompagna e scrive tantissimo per Dimash. Si chiama Tombee la neige.

Shes from a small territory of far eastern Russia. She was abused by her mother and others as a child, left at a bus stop suffering with a broken collar bone at night in the Russian winter. Found and placed in an orphanage, then adopted by an orphanage worker at 5 years old, she stuttered, had nightmares of her mother coming to take her back, and talked very little. But a music teacher took an interest in her and gave her voice lessons in hopes it would improve her speech.
Yes, it worked, I'd say. Diane appeared on this show "You Are Super" for orphans and foster kids. Won show, then won Grand Championship show next year also. She is 15 in this performance.
Her multi-level voice is quite unique, she's the next big Russian superstar, without question

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human.
First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich.
Second, she has a spectacular larynx. It is a gift from God, and others have called it the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below)
When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune.
And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.
