You can use all the pseudo science you want to try and justify your choice to start abusing animals again but it's still animal abuse. What is the morally substantial difference between humans and non-human animals that makes it okay to harm one and not the other. In terms of nutrition please name the nutrient that you were not able to get on a plant-based diet.
how about you do the research yourself on the nutrition, because you obviously don’t believe Luis’s experience or sharing, so why ask for more information. human beings are omnivores, period. no traditional peoples are vegan. just because you don’t like it doesn't mean you have to call him or any meat eater an abuser. Do you think a lion is an abuser? we are mammals and forcing our ideas / morals on others is just a domination tactic. is the industrial food system abusive? absolutely, and there is a difference.
Okay well you are forcing your morals on others when you murder and eat them. If possible it would be best to prevent wild animal predation even if they don't have the same moral agency that humans do. You can just look at that in the human context when there's someone who is mentally challenged or brain damaged that is going to harm someone else we will prevent them from doing so even though they're not a moral agent. So what is the morally substantial difference between humans and non-humans that makes it okay to do to one but not the other? What is the nutrient that you think you can't get on a plant-based diet? It is the position of the American dietetics association which is one of the largest dietary research groups in the world that a well-planned plant-based diet is suitable for all stages of life including pregnancy and can even bring some health benefits over an omnivorous diet. That finding is based on hundreds of peer-reviewed studies maybe even over a thousand. Even if the conversion thing was true (which it's not, it's a load of crap) you can just take a supplement. This guy is just another new age narcissist
There are 2 thing that I learned from this. 1) complete vs. incomplete proteins. Amino acids from plants can be used to build new protein structures in the body like skin, muscles, and even the lining of the gut. For most of my life I believe I was able to convert these amino acids into complete chains quite efficiently, but that can change for certain people and that looks like extreme fatigue, low endurance with working out, and muscle soreness/weakness all of which I had. 2) The conversion of plant fats into EPA & DHA. This might have been the most profound shift for me. Again, some bodies are very efficient at converting fats from a walnut into DHA which is used for brain, eye, and nerve health. My covid infection triggered my Lyme's symptoms which caused extremely dry and sensitive eyes and major brain fog - even short-term memory loss. Eating animal fats like eggs and fish were whole food, local, bio-available sources of these fatty acids I needed and I felt the cognitive changes immediately. I can even wear contacts again all day long for the first time in years. Animal abuse is not okay. Eating animals to nurture this animal body of mine is for me. One is done for no reason but to harm, the other is done with universal, natural harm of sacrificing one life for another. The indigenous way, the Earthly way, the way that took me years to grieve because I wasn't okay with it initially. I have a whole episode on this if you truly want to understand my path. It doesn't have to be yours.
So many former vegans I know are recovering their health now by eating a full diet. Veganism does not work for every body. Thank you for posting this.
Thanks very much for sharing 😅
