Thanks for the idea, I might put a Traxxas receiver in my Venture and use the Trx4 controller for both. I like the headlights,but hate dealing with wires. I only have a lightbar on my trx4.

dennis cooley your welcome. I found it so frustrating. It’s not nice butchering a model and it was the last resort but it worked.

Thanks very much. It was an Ebay cheapie copy of the rc4wd light bar.

So you got an aftermarket receiver and it paired with the Traxxas transmitter? What reciever is it?

2 questions: 1: how did you cut out so perfect holes and 2: is the normal controller ok with the lights or do you need that specific controller, and by the way your car looks amazing!

Thank you. It was sold some time ago to a friend so it is still active. I used a body reamer for the holes and took it slow.
I didn't try it with the normal controller. Mainly because I didn't have enough ports. The seperate controller does make sure maximum power goes to the lights.

Hey Leo. I am afraid that I do not have this truck or shell any longer. If you go onto ebay and search for RC Angel Eye Lights, you will get a few versions come up. I just picked the ones I liked the look fo best. Good luck and thanks for the question.
