I have a servo that I want to convert into a winch for my RC sailboat. Do I need an ESC or can I just plug it into my receiver? I only need it to be able to move back and forth at a single speed.
hello sir, i am from philippines, are your 2 ESC's connected both to the battery and receiver???...will it not damage your reciever due to overloading?...thank you
I’m making a wrecker on 6x6 with twin booms so need a cable for each thinking of using servo with dual output? I’m not very good yet at the electronics part
Awesome Work, thank you so much for the good video!🤩👍👍👍
Do you have to have a 3 position switch on the radio controller for this? Thank you for sharing ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing
Yes
Can I just power it of my extra channel? Run both ways?
Hi, sorry for my late answer but no. In that case it is better to use 360 degree servo.
I may be wrong but in the video you captioned to solder back in the yellow and brown, but you soldered in the brown and red. Just something I noticed.
Yellow is a signal cable, red/brown is a +/-

If you keep the servo electronics and fix the potmeter in center position you can directly connect to de receiver.

It is not damage the reveiver if you use one battery for both.
Really good video. Thank you.
i guess it is pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?

Hi. Already try but the problems is it's only running one direction. Currently I'm using dumbroc 6c. Any suggestions?
Did you connect it to the ESC or directly the receiver? If you use ESC try another channel, because ESC need 3 position switch
can the ten amp esc you use be connected to 3s? Or is it only possible to use 2s
Three cell will be too much for the stock servo motor. Usually it is working on 4.8 to 6v.
How to prevent it from pull back the rope when servo in neutral?
When it is in "neutral", nothing happen. I cut out the servo electronics and the external ESC control the motor.
The servo to channel 3,how about the esc?tq from malaysia
Hi, ESC must connect to CH3. (Servo->ESC->CH3)
@@IllaesRCworkshop tqvm!
that day I realized I needed an electric screwdriver for 2-56 screws...
You can also run that tiny cut off wheel in a drill too. If you do not have a dremel.
Nice job!! Wonder what mine going to do? Check it out!! Going to run ESC winch!!! Sud!! NC Backyard RC and MORE. 🖒💯
