I actually do that. My elbow is messed up, but for some reason only hurts when in the position of a follow through and bent, so I try to stop my swing probably 2ft lower than most ppl would. No pain and gives me a better fade to my ball for consistency, if I do full swing/follow through my draw comes out.
The feeling is that you hold back the release of the hands. Of course, no-one can actually do that, what is held back is the release of the arms. If anyone doubts this, film a full practice swing with any club and play it in slow motion, just after impact the hands will roll over.
I played back in my 20s and now mid 40s picking back up. And for whatever reason that's how I get it to go and stop. Like he said if I'm hitting like that on the range that good might as well play it
This is the way golf should be taught , focusing on your clubface moving all over is why no one but the really really good 1%ers are consistent, if more people would learn this they would be much more consistent
Yeah. the shot distance is really good, but it’s really a bad way to practice. Need to really try to do what Tommy is doing and slow it down and not worry about crushing it
I used to LOVE Rory’s swing the most until I saw Fleetwood’s. It’s seriously insane to watch in slow-mo. Straight elegance.
Glad I’m not the only one who does this. Cuz man you hit the ball a lot straighter like this

YOU GOT A DIVOT FOR THE FIRST TIME 🤯🤯🤯💥💥💥
Bro couldn’t even hold down your finish tho bc you swing so hard at it

My best shots are stingers I need to play like this more often
Hope you can do more tutorial for this 🤣🤣🤣
The swing is done after the club hits the ball. Why follow through really far and try to make the swing look pretty?
I’d still rather have a Freddy followthrough…. Not that this doesn’t make more sense lol.
I never understood why your finish or hand position matters after you’ve already hit the ball.
Follow thru will affect ball trajectory. I had an issue where my follow thru was to the right and my ball would hook right
