- A massive "Thank You" to Grant Meaby for providing the track titles and the break points for tracks that flowed into each other. Any mistakes (and wobbly camera work) that remain are entirely of my own making. Also, as always, thanks to Bob Mardon of Club 85 and to Gong, for being here, now. It was a wonderful evening (Tokai excluded 😀) The lighting seemed to play havoc with my camcorder's auto focus unfortunately, that and the vibration from the bass (both guitar and drums). Oh yeah, the interlude was (is) beautiful. This was my first experience of Gong live, if anyone more familiar with them spots any mistakes, please let me know and I'll correct them, the mistakes that is, not the person pointing them out :-)

The 15/8 riff at 7:53 is absolutely next level! And then the phones join in at 8:14. Just brilliant.
phenomenal band. Miles and miles better beyond original Gong. These guys took Gong - You and made it 1000x better and more refined. That's my opinion at least.
Very enjoyable gig - thanks for putting this up. Let's hope Kavus got his pedal board fixed by the next one!
Indeed, he seemed understandably saddened by the failure, briefly 😀. He was soon back in the moment. Thanks for your comment 👍
@@NickParsonsC85 For all the gearheads out there, it was his Tokai Flanger that stopped working, and seemingly took out three other pedals with it somehow. But yes he coped with it admirably!
@@jonhall6681 I believe the power supply to the Tokai failed, which meant that no power was going through to the 3 pedals following it in line.
They've kept something alive- Orchestras continue for generations after the original members leave this life behind. It's probably unique for a 'rock' band to do it though, and a difference is, orchestras don't write new material
