Poor little black cat, he seems very affectionate. I hope nothing will happen to him, im glad Beanie stays indoors like my cat. Over the years i often found stray cats then i took then to the vet to make sure they didn't belong to anyone and them to be able to keep them afterwards. They were wonderful companion that i kept for many years. Tommy is the only one i picked up from a shelter when he was young. Butters lives a happy life with lots of love from you and cat dad. One of my cats is a rescue. Years ago he was hit by a car at my apartment complex. Got him back to good health and I ended up adopting him. A couple of days ago I was out in the country and saw a black cat actually sat on the road surface cleaning itself. It's a quiet road but does have fast traffic. A few minutes later I saw a tractor so I hoped the cat had moved by then! I'm always nervous when I see cats or any animal close to a road. The cat I saw may have been a stray or from a farm - I certainly hope no owner would let their cat out near a road with fast traffic and large vehicles, especially a black cat that is harder to see. We've all seen wild animals that sadly have been run over but there's no excuse for pets to be near roads where they might get hit by traffic.

Tommy seems like a healthy boy lol Maybe he got out and is a mainly indoor cat. Obviously Tommy slips out sometimes if they have the whole collar/nametag. My cats have never had a collar on a day in their lives but then again theyre strictly indoor like Beanie. We've only had one mishap where one of my cats slipped out a tear in a screen window, but the reason I found out she escaped is that she was FRANTICALLY wanting back inside through the same hole and I heard her jumping and slamming herself against it
