I personally think it's foolish to but alot of brand new clothes. We are low income. I buy used and I repair almost all of my own clothes or hubby does.
I LOVE that your house is "dirty." It shows you are busy being a mama, which means you have your priorities straight. Before you know it, you will have no little people under foot to put little fingerprints everywhere. Then you can have a magazine perfect house. If you're lucky, you'll have some grand-littles that come over and mess it all up. Enjoy this season of your life to the fullest!❤

You are so hilarious. I like when people (like you) keep it real. Yep, this is life. I love windchimes. I have them outside and inside. I have one above my kitchen sink, my husband calls it a head banger. 😆 I dislike when I hear people criticize others for buying faux flowers, especially cheap ones. But, you know what- some people can’t afford real or expense real looking and everyone deserves “pretty” in their home!! God bless them for making things pretty within the means God has provided. ❤

I started thrifting when I was in high school (let’s just say over 30 years ago) before thrifting was cool! Most of our things in our our first house came from thrift stores and I clothed our children from thrift stores (they dressed as well as the kids who’s parents dropped lots of money)! It was a life saver, but also so fun treasure hunting. My husband was always so amazed at the beautiful things I have found over the years. I’m happy to see other people getting on the band wagon…and to those that think it’s gross…more for us!

Hey! New to your channel as I’m binging videos while doing a mountain of dishes! There are 560 comments, so someone probably already said this, but I’m telling you, if you take cleaning vinegar, soak a rag in it, and set it down in the bottom of the sink, overnight or on any hard water stains up around the faucet, it literally just wipes out the next morning!!!

I LOVE thrifting. I grew up with it being a necessity but now I do it for fun.
Fun story. My BFF told me her grandmother thrifted for fun when it definitely wasn’t cool. So when people asked her where she found her fabulous item she said, “At the Mimi!” So ever since it’s been called the Mimi. ❤️

Most tuned wind chimes are pricing! I paid $60 for mine about 5 years ago, but it is worth it. I still loving hearing it whenever the breeze blows!

I absolutely love how relatable you are Kristen. I have a husband, 3 small kids and a cat. My house looks about like yours most days and I too do the bare minimum to keep my house looking “clean”. As long as my guests keep their eyes straight ahead and don’t look down, behind or under things then we’re good! Lol.

The wind chimes are your most exciting purchase today, in my opinion. I have two large sets on our back porch and we love hearing them. They remind us of church bells with their deeper tones..

I would go with the blue glasses for two reasons-1. Blue is my favorite color & 2. The carrots on the greens ones remind me of Easter (more of a seasonal item IMO).
I’ve always been tidy but I not very good at cleaning. I used to hoover about once a month. Getting a cordless vacuum has been life changing i use it every day!

Get both colors. They seem to pair well together. You don't have to be matchy-matchy. That way you can use them with a lot of different colors or together. Think green glasses with white plates and maybe rattan placemats or something.

I was so longing for this 😍 I just want to point out I know a lovely woman, she has money, but still has wholes in her shirts because she love them or just doesn't care about clothing, she is such an inspiration, have a lovely house and some small ones.
People may judge her for being poor or even cheap, but she is not, just very chill.
Now I will watch this video I have been waiting for 😍 So ready for spring now, we also had a (hopefully) last snow day, but I enjoyed it because I know spring will come!

I love how real you are. I don’t vacuum enough either. My mother in law once asked if we had one of those vacuums to clean stairs. That was her Minnesota “nice” way of telling me my housekeeping is not up to her standards.😂😂

@@KristenHoffman The thing is: My clothes are new (because thrifting in Germany is sad at least where I am) and I still manage to have holes and stains all over .. (in a matter of weeks sometimes because I´m so clamsy) 😅
Just use water with your Norwax products. When you wash them only use hot water no soap products. I love my Norwax products, best purchase I have ever made. I have some Norwax towels and mop pads that I have had for years. Do not feel bad for buying resale clothes, I have bought resale before it was fashionable, I’m guessing 50 years. I have saved thousands of dollars and get compliments all the time. I especially love resale jewelry. I love your videos, you are a breath of fresh air!
