      Rents have drastically increased all across the nation since the beginning of Covid. That increase has been much worse in other states and more populated metro areas. The Wiregrass area has a tremendously lower cost of living compared to national prices and a very good standard of living, so I would say the value is here for people looking for a good area. That also helps to explain our tremendous growth rate. Also, rent is usually a waste of money in the first place. So, if you're looking to become a homeowner or just have questions in general, feel free to reach out to us at any time!

      Thanks so much for commenting! I appreciate your input. I can assure you that I'm not just a salesperson looking for business. I'm actually here to sincerely help people and be of benefit to everyone and their long-term best interests. You can check our website's blog for more information regarding renting and why, in most cases (but certainly not all because different people of course are in different situations), it can be a wiser long-term decision to purchase a property. I'm also heavily involved in our local community and in support of many local small businesses & organizations. I utilize that knowledge & experience in assisting the many people now relocating to our region from all over the United States that are fleeing other states to benefit from our extremely low property taxes and our low cost of living. There's also more information on our website's blog about our community, its local leaders, and the great plans we have to continue to grow in the future. That growth only continues to increase property values, which benefits homeowners. I'd welcome a conversation with you if you'd like to know more, so feel free to reach out to us on our website or check our channel's description for our other contact info!

      Thanks for your comment. The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Grow Southeast Alabama are always posting newly opened businesses and many places are hiring, including Southeast Health who are in the midst of a huge recruiting campaign, as well as many other healthcare facilities. Our area is booming with growth, and skilled labor is in high demand. Wallace Community College, Troy University of Dothan, and Fortis College have great programs to assist those looking to increase their skills to meet that skilled labor demand. Money is required to live anywhere, and, with our nationally averaged low cost of living and low property taxes, it's much more affordable here than other places in the nation. If anyone is looking for work, I'd be more than glad to help and point them in the right direction.

      For anyone who would like a city that's growing and booming while still enjoying the "small town" feel of community, a lower than national average cost of living, very low property taxes, a city with a very supportive business community for entrepreneurs & small businesses, a diverse and long list of places of worship representing many different religions and faiths, lower than national average crime rate, a very convenient geographic location for travel, good average weather, a city with an incredible leisure services department and parks system, etc. A long list of reasons for those who wish to move here. Of course, if it's not for you, it's simply not for you, and that's fine as well. I was born & raised here and have traveled to many states and overseas, and I always love coming home to Dothan & the Wiregrass area. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to know more!

    Wrong. Its Suffolk Virginia. Peanut Capitol.

    • @propertychampionsrealestat6794
      @propertychampionsrealestat6794  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Diana, thanks so much for commenting! However, there's a reason why Dothan is named the Peanut Capital of the World. The National Peanut Festival held each fall in Dothan & Houston County celebrates the harvest season and honors the region's peanut industry. The celebration recognizes the important impact the peanut has had in the Southeast. Known as the Peanut Capital of the World, the Dothan area produces more than 65 percent of all peanuts produced in the United States, making it the ideal location for the National Peanut Festival. With providing such a majority of the nation's peanut crop, we are the beneficiaries of the great work accomplished by George Washington Carver of Tuskegee University and take great pride in our agricultural history. We'd love to discuss more of our local history with you. I'm sure Suffolk Virginia is also a great place with its own interesting history as well. I understand Suffolk is the home of the famous Planters Nut & Chocolate Company. It's likely those delicious snacks are comprised of our local peanuts! Thanks again for contributing and be sure to check the links in our description to find out more about Dothan & the Wiregrass region as a whole. Dothan is OK but if you won't to go somewhere it will take forever,no interstate,red lights every block,poor infrastructure pot holes everywhere,I live in Columba,fill my tank up every week to make my 5 times a week trip to Dothan and I'm on empty,but when I fill up with gas to make a trip to Tampa or Orlando I still have a quarter of tank left in tank when I get there because of interstate driving and better roads in Florida.If you don't like country living it's not for you.lots of chain restaurants here to,local mom and pop restaurants are better but they all close by 3 o'clock afternoon.
