What a lovely video! I really connected with this & it felt like having coffee with a friend. I loved hearing your favorite books of the year! I made my goal of reading 20 books in 2023, which was a big personal win for me as I loved reading as a kid but fell away from it. I have several favorites from the year, but loved “Strong like Water” by Aundi Kolber, which helped me work through some tough mental health challenges in my personal life & inspire my next step - I start school this month towards becoming a counselor. Wishing you a wonderful 2024. Thank you for bringing light & connection to this platform 🤗
Hi Carrie, I'm so happy about your comment! Thank you very much for your kind words - glad you enjoyed the video and feel connected 🤗 Congrats on your book reading challenge for 2023! It can be so hard to stick to it, 20 books is massive 🎉 Thank you for the book recommendation, I just bought it on audible and will start it today. Wow, I'm so excited for your new adventure of becoming a counselor - that sounds amazing! Wishing you all the best for your journey and a wonderful 2024 too 🤗
So nice seeing London again in your videos :) I'm a fellow OCD person and I share your frustration with the way it is used as a throwaway comment/adjective when people don't understand how truly scary it can feel. I haven't heard of Me vs Brain but i will be sure to check it out. Wishing you all the peace of mind this year and beyond ! Xxx
Hi Claire :) You might also like "Mad Girl" by Bryony Gordon - it's a little more serious than "Me vs Brain" but still has it's funny moments. It's my go to book I'd give to someone who is curious how life with OCD can look like (it helped me a lot to feel understood by the people close to me). Aw thank you, Claire! Nicely put - I wish you too all the peace of mind for 2024 and beyond! xx
Hello Victoria!! what a special video!! Thank you for being transparent and for your excellent book choices, I will include them in my 2024 reading. Also thank you for all your work this year on TH-cam, I have enjoyed each of your videos An old book that marked me this year was the Dancer from Auschwitz. Due to a difficult situation that I had to go through personally, this book taught me not to take the role of victim (what was I doing...asking why me?) and by changing the question to why not me? What can I do in this situation? that I learn? Instead of staying feeling sorry for myself, it helped me become someone who takes action and values herself and learns to deal better with adversity. Ugh, I didn't talk about this with anyone who isn't in my inner circle, but we have a nice community here. Greetings and see you next year 🤗💕 (I hope Google Translate helps me express my ideas well)
Hi Claudia, happy New Year! I hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for your kind words and ongoing support 🤗 I really appreciate your kindness! Is the author of the book Edith Eger? If yes, I'm going to order it straight away, can't wait to read it. Thanks for the recommendation and for sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear that you've went through a difficult time - if you'd ever need to someone to talk to, feel free to reach out via messages on Insta 🤗 Have a great start into the new year! 💕
To answer your question. A few years ago I deleted Twitter and Instagram (never used FB, I really don't like it) and left only TH-cam, as I don't watch televison and didn't want to be so disconnected. I like YT as I can choose what to watch and I can dive deeper into things that interest me. I deleted T and IG because I felt like I was being ripped apart. Yes, I connected with other people and yes, I shared my passions and feelings and once it was great to feel you're 'out there'. But then it was too much. I was 'there' and there was nothing in 'here', you know? I can't even imagine to have TikTok adding to it as well. I just don't know how people cope. One medium is enough. And I still spend to much time on it already. I could be reading right now ;)
That’s so interesting to hear - sometimes I feel I’m in the minority with not being able to handle Insta or TikTok without it stealing my focus for hours a day. I think I know what you mean by “being out there, but that there’s nothing ‘here’”. Glad to hear that TH-cam feels different for you - that’s what I am always hoping for 😅 Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Last thing - what’s your favourite book of 2023?
I just finished reading ‘Before the coffee gets cold’ earlier this week. It was such a beautiful book and each story made me contemplate life and who I might like to speak with if I could. I think there are two people who I would cherish the opportunity to speak with them again ( my darling Dad and my dear friend Trish - I miss their presence in my life daily). It is a book I want to reread 😊 wishing you and Alistair a Happy New Year 🎉🥂🌟
Hi Cristina! What a coincidence that you've just read this book - glad to hear that it resonated with you too. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I'm sorry for your loss. Feel hugged! I'm here if you'd ever need an open ear (mayor.victoria23@gmail.com). Thank you, I wish you a Happy New Year too, Cristina! 🌟

Everything about your content and presentation is extraordinarily beautiful.
Aww, that's so lovely to hear - glad you enjoy my videos!
Could you please do a video about your morning routine?
