    I am looking at getting this motor for my '70 C10 short bed. Looks like Blueprint recommends a 2400 RPM stall converter for this motor. What RPM of stall are you running on your torque converter?

    Are these the straight through design or offset outlet?

      These mufflers are straight through design but look like a normal muffler. Check out the exhaust video to see everything I used.

      These mufflers are mild when just cruising around but when you hit the gas they are pretty much like straight pipes. At least with this 400 BluePrint engine. Something with less power might be tamer.

    Hey bud, your do'in knock out good work. And that's coming from a 40 plus year and 400 truck builder!!!! I really like all your ideas, dig your mix of new and (KC) old. I guess the only thing I wonder about -and it'd not my business --I just try to help people. I'm thinking you've got many parts of a very hi-po build. I mean you could pull that damn thing at one of your local truck /county fair truck pulls.Except for your weaker small shaft axles and u-joints, and from main driveshaft back. If you layed into that built 400 you better have a bushel basket and your wife walking behind you-- I guarantee it.Wouldn't take much to swap in a big lug dana 60 front and a HO 72 eaton rear. I've played all those games ,so I sorta know I guess. I LOVE IT OTHER THAN THAT !!!!!! Jim

      @@mossman381 Yea , not trying to be a smartass --just compliment you on your truck. I guess for the most part I don't get why you'd spend the BIG money on a 500hp. small block when all ya need is a nice GM replacement motor like I'm running in my restored '71 Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4. They even are I believe 290 hp. and I put some stainless headers and 2.5 exhaust so I am sure I am at 300hp. I pull 18' car trailer and you can't hardly tell anything is on the back. Why put 500plus hp. in front of 1/2 ton parts ???? A few Busch Lites and you better put a utility trailer on your '80 to bring home your '70. LOL

      @@jameskiesau7543 I did a whole video on why I bought this motor. I wanted the 400 because that is what this truck could have had back in the day. The 383 wasn't much cheaper and that is what I would have gone with if I wanted to save some money. It wasn't about saving money or the hp it was about getting the 400 motor I wanted for the build.
