      I can never choose between Soma or Geek USA.
      Soma may get the slight edge because of that solo.

      @@MasonMusicRocks I've got a Jag-Stang, a few Ibanez (including a Jet King 2 and an Artcore semi-hollow), an old 70's Mustang, 2 American Strats (one is my avatar), an American Tele, a couple of Les Paul copies including a Michael Kelly Patriot and two Agile 3100's, another 8 Mexi Strats (standard and deluxe), an old Squier Bullet strat (nicest neck I've ever played on a low-end guitar), a Squier '51, a couple of cheap acoustics (Washburn and Ibanez) and a Reverend Charger HB (that is supposed to arrive tomorrow).

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jethro honestly I don't notice much of a tone difference, it's more the feel and look for me personally. Some guitar freaks out there might pipe up and claim differently, but that's my take on it.

    Im left handed- what would happen if I flipped these pickups and put them in a different guitar?

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +GuitarFreak1901 I have no idea... As long as you have the right side of the pickup under the right strings it would probably be alright. You can order the pickups here: www.railhammer.com/pickups.html

    • @9unslin9er
      @9unslin9er 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The whole point is to have the rails pickup frequencies at a higher harmonic node, so I would imagine reversing them would make them suck ass. Just saying. The poles keep the treble mellow.

    Whats the pedals youre using to get this sound?

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      none! This was just overdrive from the amp. The guitar is doing all the rest. Those pickups are magical.

    • @nelos7519
      @nelos7519 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MasonMusicRocks wow, didn't expect that. What pedals would you recommend for the siamese sound tho? Is the new version of the big muff the best? Also is a fuzz pedal necessary?

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BC definitely uses a lot of fuzz. I think he was partial to a tone bender. There’s a really cool JHS fuzz that replicates that. I’ll drop a link below.
